Jake Pavelka's fiancee is joining Extra as a reporter.

"I start my new job today as Ms. Vienna Girardi Extra TV
Reporter," she posted on Twitter Monday. "My first interview
is with DWTS tonight!"

Vienna, 24, teased on her Facebook page over the weekend
that she'd have a "big surprise for everyone on Monday."

The former Hooters waitress moved to L.A. with Jake to
support him while he competes on Dancing With the Stars.

Conan O'Brien Taking Late-Night Show to Cable...

Conan O'Brien has emerged from the late-night war with Jay Leno
at NBC with a new show beginning in November on TBS.

?In three months I?ve gone from network television to Twitter to
performing live in theaters, and now I?m headed to basic cable.
My plan is working perfectly," Conan said in a statement.

On his Twitter page, he joked: "The good news: I will be doing a
show on TBS starting in November! The bad news: I'll be playing
Rudy on the all new Cosby Show."

His new show will air Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m., taking
the current slot of George Lopez's show Lopez Tonight, which will
then move to midnight.

According to TBS, Conan began talks in earnest with the network
last week after Lopez personally called him to recruit him. ?I
can?t think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as
my lead-in,? Lopez said. ?It?s the beginning of a new era in
late-night comedy.?

Dixie Carter Dies at Age 70...

Television and Broadway actress Dixie Carter passed away Saturday
morning at the age of 70.

"This has been a terrible blow to our family," her husband, actor =

Hal Holbrook, said in a statement. "We would appreciate everyone
understanding that this is a private family tragedy."

Dixie died from complications arising from endometrial cancer,
publicist Steve Rohr says.

Best known for her role as interior designer Julia Sugarbaker in
Designing Women, the Tennessee native earned an Emmy nomination
in 2007 for her guest appearance on Desperate Housewives.

Her Broadway credits include a stint in Thoroughly Modern Millie
in 2004.

Dixie and Hal, who married in 1984, appeared together last year
in That Evening Sun, an independent film based on a short story
by author William Gay.

In addition to her husband, Dixie is survived by two daughters
from a previous marriage.

Brandy blogs about Flo Rida romance...

Brandy has opened up about her romance with Flo Rida, admitting
she's reluctant to "commit" to the rapper because she doesn't
want to end up heartbroken.

Brandy insists she's "definitely interested" in the "Right Round"=

hitmaker, who she began spending time with last year, but she's
not getting serious with the hip-hop star just yet.

In a blog post, Brandy wonders if she'll ever find happiness with
a man in the public eye, insisting she's "scared" a famous
boyfriend will eventually cheat on her.

She writes, "I've seen the photos of me and Flo Rida. It doesn't
matter how we met. We met. I don't want to say that we're a
couple. I can definitely say that he's somebody in my life and
I'mdefinitely interested but I'm not serious with anybody. I'm a
little bit afraid to give my heart away right now...

"People that are in the entertainment business are scary because
there's so much out there for them. They can get whatever they
want and you have to be a strong guy to be in a committed
relationship. You have to be strong and ready for that. And I

Stacey Dash alleges her husband was abusive...

"Clueless" star Stacey Dash was granted a restraining order
against her husband on the day she filed for divorce, after
alleging he was physically abusive during their two-year union.

Stacey split from her husband of three years, Emmanuel Xuereb,
in January and a judge granted her a protection order when she
filed legal papers to make the split official.

The order, signed by a judge on January 29, has been obtained
by reporters and the documents include Stacey's allegations
that her partner hit her in the face, head and body during
their marriage.

In the papers, Stacey describes one terrifying ordeal in which
Emmanuel allegedly pinned her down to a bed and threatened her.

Stacey, who is now romantically linked to Oscar-winner Jamie
Foxx, claims she was too scared to report her allegations to
police at the time.

Emmanuel is ordered to stay 100 yards away from Dash, her two
children from previous relationships, and the family home. The
former couple is due back in court in June.

This singer might be getting her life back together, but one of

It's Amy Winehouse...

Amy was experiencing chest pain and discomfort in the breast
implantswhich she had fitted last fall. "She had them checked
out and all was OK, so she didn?t have to stay in," a friend
comments.

Amy was last hospitalized in November following a reaction involving
over-the-counter medication that mixed with other medication in her
system.

Saturday's hospital visit comes as Amy settles back into life in
Camden, London, following her relatively brief time living in the
northern suburbs of Barnet. She has been working on and off on her
third album and helping with the career of her goddaughter Dionne
Bromfield, with whom she was out last week.
