Hint 1: If you've got wood floors that always seem to squeak, fix the problem with the help of baby powder. This astringent powder leaves things nice and fresh while keeping down the screeches. Here's how to make things better...

Sprinkle the area of the wood floor that is squeaking with
baby powder.

Gently sweep the baby powder over the cracks of the floor,
this will fill in the spaces and keep it from squeaking.
The baby powder also keeps the boards from rubbing together without being abrasive. Safe to use over and over.
