I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Let's get back in the groove and get straight to today's hints.

Here's your first hint for the summer season: garbage cans seem to be more prone to hungry and curious "visitors" like raccoons. Try sprinkling Epsom Salt around the trash bins to deter animals. They do not like the salt, but it will not harm them...just make hem want to check out someone else's trash instead.

Hint 1: This is a problem for most everyone that loves wearing white shirts.
I have many white shirts that have those
annoyed 'pit stains'. I can't wait to try
this tip on them, I'm thinking this coming
weekend is the perfect time :)

White t-shirts and underarm stains simply don't look good
together. To get rid of those stains, try some aspirin.
Dissolve 8-10 aspirin in warm water, then soak the underarm of the shirt in the solution for about 30 minutes. Wash the shirt after that as normal, and the stain should disappear.

 

Hint 2: Don't throw out paint brushes when you're done with your home projects. Save them, and save money!

Paint brushes can be easily cleaned and saved for the next
paint job: soak the brushes in two gallons of water and a
fabric softener sheet. Your paint brushes will be clean and
the bristles will not get gummy and sticky.
