Nina Dobrev Leaving 'Vampire Diaries'...
Nina Dobrev took to Instagram on Monday to announce she's leaving the popular CW series The Vampire Diaries.

After six seasons on the series as Elena Gilbert -- and Katherine and Amara -- Dobrev said she's parting ways with the undead drama. She announced the news in an Instagram post to her "dearest TVD family."

"I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries," she wrote in a lengthy post.

"I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever.??

"There's more to come before we wrap this up, and I promise you'll get to hear all about my experiences over the next month as we approach the season finale (I have given an exclusive interview for the June issue of SELF Magazine that I am excited for you to see!), but until then I invite you to hop on the roller coaster ride that is Elena Gilbert's life and join me as I celebrate her and prepare to say goodbye to her -- and to my work family -- as I move on to the next chapter of my life. The announcement comes just a couple months after co-star Steven R. McQueen announced he's leaving the series.


Kaley Cuoco Slams Ryan Sweeting Divorce Rumors...
Kaley Cuoco says her marriage to husband Ryan Sweeting is stronger than ever.

The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram on Sunday to slam lingering reports the couple plan to divorce. Cuoco and Sweeting got engaged after three months of dating, and have been subject to breakup rumors since they wed in December 2013.

"I have never been more proud of anyone on the planet," she captioned a photo of Sweeting. "This guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant 'conversation' regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make."

"All of you who take it upon yourselves to trash our marriage, daily workings of our relationship and everything in between, go ahead and keep doing it, cause it only makes us stronger," she declared. "If you were smart, you would take a look at your own marriage, relationship, job, etc."

Cuoco dismissed divorce rumors earlier in the week by posting a collage of herself with Sweeting, writing, "We are totally getting divorced, can't you tell!!?! 4 weeks apart and finally reunited - I missed this guy more than anything !! #rumors #notpregnant #totallymarried."

Daniel Craig Undergoes Surgery For Injury...
Daniel Craig underwent surgery over the weekend.

The 47-year-old actor had a "minor procedure" while on Easter break from filming new James Bond film Spectre, reports the BBC.

"During a scheduled break, Daniel Craig had arthroscopic surgery to repair his knee injury. He will rejoin production on April 22nd at Pinewood [Studios]," a spokeswoman announced in a statement.

Former James Bond portrayer Roger Moore revealed Craig was injured on Twitter in February, writing, "Sorry to hear Daniel Craig has sprained his knee on set #Spectre. Being 007 is not without its hazards. I'm available to step in if needed."

'Spectre' marks Craig's fourth appearance as James Bond, and opens in theaters Nov. 6. The movie is directed by Sam Mendes, and co-stars Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Christoph Waltz. Craig previously injured his head while filming a car chase scene for the film.


Jenna Bush Hager Expecting Baby No. 2...
Jenna Bush Hager is pregnant with her second child.

The special correspondent for the Today show announced she is 20 weeks along during the morning program Monday.

Bush Hager, 33, enlisted the help of her daughter, Mila, who she welcomed with husband Henry Hager, to make the announcement via home video.

Mila, who will be 2 this month, is seen blowing kisses to Bush Hager's growing bump and revealed the family is expecting another baby girl.

The newest addition to the family will be the second grandchild for former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush. Mila's grandparents were told about the exciting news the day after Christmas. Bush Hager told People Magazine, "They were thrilled."

She is due in August.

The star who's brother lied about being black to get into med school???

It's Mindy Kaling... Mindy Kaling's older brother Vijay Chokal-Ingam made headlines over the weekend after sharing on his website a story about how he got into medical school by lying about his race.

Chokal-Ingam claims on his blog Almost Black that he was wait listed applied at University of Pennsylvania, Washington University and Mt. Sinai when he applied as Indian-American.

The self-proclaimed "affirmative action hacktivist" then decided to apply again under a different name and race.

"Would you rather accept racism or defy those who want to discriminate against you? I chose the latter and applied to medical school as black," he writes, adding that he proceeded to shave his head and trim his "long Indian eyelashes" before sending in his application.

On March 31, Chokal-Ingam posted screen grabs from his acceptance letters from Columbia University, Cornell University, George Washington University, Vanderbilt University and more on Almost Black's Facebook page. Most of the correspondences came from the institutions' minority affair department.

He didn't attend medical school after all, but plans to share his experience as a black man in a book titled Almost Black: The True Story Of An Indian American Who Got Into Medical School Posing As An African American.

As for Kaling's stand on the matter, Chokal-Ingam told the New York Post she told him his project would "bring shame on the family."
