Here's the Scoop...

Ever have a weekend that was so packed with stuff to do that you get back to work and you realize... YOU'RE EXHAUSTED!

That's what my weekend was like. Don't get me wrong, most of the stuff I was doing was fun, but I really didn't have a minute to relax.

I guess I'll have to take a nap at work... if I could only sleep with my eyes open!

Be Well,
Anisa

Jack Black Opens Up About Brother's Death...
Actor Jack Black is marking the 25th anniversary of his brother's death by opening up about the AIDS-related tragedy.

The School of Rock star is known for his comedy talents, but he admits his early career years were marred by drugs, divorce and the death of his sibling Howard, aged 31.

"Losing afamily member is the worst thing I could imagine," Jack tells Parade magazine. "Death didn't happen quickly. We all saw the deterioration. He was so very young. We were robbed of something precious. It was devastating. It was hard for all of us, but it was hardest for my mom when we lost Howard. She's never really recovered."

Jack, who was 11 years younger than his big brother, still counts his sibling as one of the main inspirations in his life, saying, "He was a big influence on me. He took me to my first rock concert. He was so vibrant, creative, amazing. He shaped my taste in music."

Black admits he was heading down the wrong path in life before his brother died, revealing he turned to drugs in his early teens to cope with the heartbreak of his parents' divorce.

"I remember just lots of turmoil from that time period," he adds. "I was having a lot of troubles with cocaine... I was hanging out with some pretty rough characters. I was scared to go to school because one of them wanted to kill me. I wanted to get out of there."

Ironically, it was those troubled times that inspired Jack to sign on for his new movie Goosebumps, based on the popular children's horror fiction series of the same name.

"It was a great adventure and a really fun role," he said. "It's about forgiveness and not letting your rage and thirst for revenge control you, but it's also about how some of those darker emotions can be used to create great masterworks. I play a guy with a dark past and a brilliant mind, wrestling with his own demons, literally."

"There were hurdles, things she didn't trust about me, things I didn't trust about her. I just kept going back to 'This person has the thing I want, and I have to figure out how we can exist peacefully.'" - Dax Shepard, on attending couples therapy with wife Kristen Bell

Justin Bieber's Lawyers Threaten To Sue Over Nude Vacation Pix...
You've by now probably heard all about the nude pictures that paparazzi took of Justin while he was on vacation.

His lawyers have swooped on websites posting naked photos of the pop superstar on holiday in Bora Bora, threatening legal action if the candid shots are not taken down.

The nude snaps of the well-endowed hunk started hitting the Internet last week, and the singer's legal team has sent multiple cease and desist letters to news outlets that published them.

The lawyers claim the photos were taken without Bieber's knowledge, and they're promising to sue if news outlets don't comply.

One letter sent to the New York Daily News, which originally published the nude photos, demands the snaps are taken off the publication's website within 12 hours.

The cease-and-desist missive also acknowledges the photos are, in fact, of Bieber, despite online speculation the photos had been doctored to look like him.

Kurt Cobain's Beatles Cover Song Gets Released On Vinyl...
A Kurt Cobain version of the Beatles And I Love Her will soon be coming to vinyl.

The cover of the Beatles' classic was first revealed in the documentary Montage of Heck. It was one of the many songs director Brett Morgen unearthed when he was allowed to go through Cobain's massive library of home recordings to make the authorized biography of the late musician.

The song will be released on a 7-inch vinyl with the B-side being a Cobain rarity called Sappy. A pre-order link was announced on The Vinyl Collective message board. The release date is Nov. 20, two weeks after the release of the Montage of Heck soundtrack.

"I finished the film and there was all this other music," Morgen said on KCRW's The Business in May. "I just started cutting the thing together and telling the estate that they should put this out. I think initially my thought was it would be a nice complement to the film." he said.

"I don't have any financial stake in the album," Morgen said. "Creatively, it should be out there as a thing for the fans."

The Montage of Heck soundtrack and DVD are scheduled to arrive in stores November 6th.

The veteran rocker is recovering after undergoing back surgery?

It's Phil Collins... The former Genesis star had been due to make an appearance at a charity dinner in New York City last week, but he was unable to attend the event after undergoing an operation 2 weeks ago.

Phil explained his absence from the Sports Legends Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in a video message which he recorded at a hospital in Florida, according to the New York Daily News.

"Yes, I'm supposed to be with you tonight, but (my doctor) Dr. Green had other ideas," he told the audience. "I've had back surgery the last week and I'm literally just recovering. I'm stuck here in a Miami hospital."

No further details about Phil's condition were available as WENN went to press.

The musician had been due to pick up an award for his charity work at the bash, which raised funds for the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis.

Other guests at the event included veteran singer Gloria Estefan.
