Joe Jackson 'regains Sight, Cracking Jokes' After Health Scare...
Michael Jackson's father Joe has regained his vision and is doing well as he recovers from heart surgery following a stroke, according to family representative.

The Jackson family patriarch was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday afternoon after experiencing signs of a stroke while in the country to celebrate his 87th birthday.

He suffered a burst artery behind his eye, which caused him to temporarily lose his vision, and then battled a trio of further health scares as his heart stopped three times.

He went under the knife on Monday to have a permanent pacemaker fitted and was placed in the intensive care unit to recuperate.

Now a spokesperson for the Jackson clan has said Joe is starting to feel like his old self and has been cracking jokes from his hospital bed. He has also regained his sight and his speech is not impaired.

The news emerges hours after Joe Jackson's representative warned: "So far he's doing OK, but he's not out of the woods yet."

Pharrell Williams Sued Over Talk Show...
Pharrell Williams is facing a $1 million lawsuit from bosses at a production company over allegations he pulled the plug on a deal to appear in a web series.

Producers at Uncommon Content have filed legal papers in New York accusing the hitmaker of failing to fulfil an obligation to star in an online project called Artst Tlk because of issues with his contract on the reality TV show The Voice.

In the suit, they claim they were already in negotiations to take the series to cable TV when Williams backed out, according to the New York Post.

The new lawsuit comes just months after Williams and Robin Thicke lost a key legal battle over their hit track Blurred Lines when a judge ruled they had copied portions of a Marvin Gaye track and ordered them to pay $7 million to his family.

Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone's Success Inspires TV Land Pilot...
TV Land says it has ordered a pilot called Friends with Melissa, which was written and executive produced by Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf and Rachel Ramras.

The single-camera comedy is based on the real lives of the trio, who watched as their friends from The Groundlings -- married actor-writers Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone -- "went on to star in blockbuster comedies... while they toiled away writing for children's television," a synopsis said.

McCarthy will appear in the pilot episode of the possible series, and she and her husband will serve as executive producers.

"We are continuing to build our stable of innovative, engaging and challenging comedies, which

is exactly what Melissa, Ben and these writers have brought us," Keith Cox, executive vice president of development and original programming for TV Land, said in a statement Monday. "With this script being from a group of alums from The Groundlings, we're excited to know they'll have an endless amount of creativity and interesting experiences to pull from."

"We are so excited to be working with Hugh, Rachel and Larry -- such funny people, who are great friends. TV Land is a great place for this show," McCarthy and Falcone added

The celebrity who was feeling 'too skinny,' so she gained 25 pounds?

It's Whitney Cummings... The actress and comedienne spoke about her recent 25-pound weight gain when she visited NBC's Today show.

Cummings, 32, said she felt too skinny before gaining 25 pounds, saying being on television confused her and made her look like she was passing away.

On the show, she wore a black jumpsuit that showed off her figure.

The actress also cleared up questions about her fuller face, linking it to the weight gain. She added that she has been using an LED machine called NuFace to lift and tighten the skin on her face.

She joked with Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about having purchased her new face on eBay, and added weight gain is something no one likes to do anymore.

Cummings also said that much advice to girls in present times is that of losing weight, adding that a woman must pick between her butt or her face, and saying she picked her face.
