Melissa Gilbert and Bruce Boxleitner Split...
Looks like the prairie just got a little lonelier.
Melissa Gilbert, 46, has separated from her husband of 16
years, Bruce Boxleitner, 60, a rep for the actress confirms.
Wed in 1995 after a stormy courtship, the couple have one son,
Michael, 15, named for Michael Landon, Melissa's costar, mentor
and father figure during her 9-year (from 1974 to 1983) stint
as Laura Ingalls on TV's Little House on the Prairie.
Melissa also has a son, Dakota, 21, from her previous marriage
to Bo Brinkman; Boxleitner has two sons, ages 30 and 25, from
his previous marriage to former actress Kathryn Ogilvy.
"We have loved each other for a very long time and we share
four incredible sons together," Melissa, a former president
of the Screen Actors Guild, said in a statement. "On behalf
of our family we ask to be allowed our privacy during this
very difficult time."

Zsa Zsa Gabor's home burgled...
Zsa Zsa Gabor's financial woes have worsened after her
California mansion was targeted by burglars in the early hours
of Sunday.
The ailing actress' husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, claims
he was awoken by a loud sound in the middle of the night and
found two men ransacking their sprawling Bel Air home.
He reveals he attempted to chase the intruders out with a
baseball bat, but fell and hurt his hip as they made their
escape.
According to Von Anhalt, the burglars got as far as the living
room and he believes they made off with several of the couple's
prized possessions, including paintings, a laptop, a camera and
some statues.
Police were called to the scene to investigate the break-in.
The incident comes at a difficult time for the couple.
Zsa Zsa, 94, has suffered a number of health problems in recent
months and recently spent time in hospital to treat an infection
in her amputated leg, while von Anhalt has been forced to put
their home on the market in a bid to help pay her spiraling
medical bills

Christina Aguilera Arrested, Jailed for Her Safety...
Christina Aguilera was arrested for public intoxication early
Tuesday morning and jailed for her own safety until she
recovered. Her boyfriend was also arrested for investigation
of DUI.
The singer was released from custody at the West Hollywood
sheriff's station at about 7:30 a.m., according to Los Angeles
County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
"We have no desire to prosecute, none whatsoever. It just for
a public safety issue," says Whitmore. "When she was able to
navigate and to think on her own and make her own way, she was
released."
Christina was a passenger in a car driven by boyfriend Matthew
Rutler that was pulled over at 2:45 a.m. when deputies noticed
the vehicle driving erratically. Both were booked, Christina
for public intoxication, Rutler for DUI.
"She was not capable to taking care of herself. She was
incapacitated," says Whitmore. "She was cooperative. She was
not belligerent in any way whatsoever. She was just intoxicated."

Jane Russell, Sex Symbol of 1940s and '50s, Dies...
Jane Russell, the full-figured beauty who was one of Hollywood's
leading sex symbols of the 1940s and '50s, died Monday at her
home in Santa Maria, Calif.
The Minnesota-born icon, 89, died of a respiratory-related
illness, according to reports.
Discovered by Howard Hughes in 1941, Russell shot to fame in the
controversial Western The Outlaw, about Billy the Kid. The
publicity stills were as scandalous as the film, with Jane
sprawled in the hay wearing a tight, low-cut dress.
Jane also hit movie gold in 1953, when she starred opposite
Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She also tried a
career in music, forming a gospel group that had a hit single
in the mid-'50s.
Following her gospel career, Jane started the Hollywood
Christian Group, a Bible study at her home for people in the
film industry. She also appeared periodically on television's
Praise the Lord.
She was married three times. Unable to have children on her own,
Russell and first husband Bob Waterfield adopted two boys and a
girl, and in 1955, she founded World Adoption International Fund.

It's Victoria Beckham...
Her chauffeur stopped her black Jaguar right outside the store,
using a parking spot allocated for handicapped users only.
Chantelle Hughes, who suffers from genetic disease Cystic
Fibrosis, waited for the car to move out of the space so she
could point out the error to the driver, but was shocked when
she saw the famous star.
She explains, "Victoria Beckham needs to realize that disabled
people could have parked there. She needs to think about it
next time."
Victoria has now apologized for her driver's actions through
her spokesperson, who says, "This was a momentary lapse in
judgment by Victoria's driver, not something that Victoria
was aware of or would ever condone.
"Victoria is of course, hugely apologetic for any inconvenience
that may have been caused."
