Here's the Scoop....

Cher's son Chaz Bono surprised his longtime fiancee by presenting her with an engagement ring on her recent birthday.

The transgender star proposed to Jennifer Elia in 2009 but revealed during a TV interview in May, "We've been engaged for two years and we've had to put things on hold."

Chaz has now cemented their engagement by presenting Elia with a diamond during a birthday trip to Seattle, Washington.

The moment was caught on camera for upcoming TV show "Being Chaz," with Elia gushing, "Wow, it's gorgeous, thank you so much. It's stunning. It's huge. What he did was romantic. Who would have thought Seattle would be so special?"

Chaz adds, "I wanted to pick a special place to give her her birthday present."

The show aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network on Sunday.

Jennifer Nettles had a lot to be thankful for this holiday season.

The Sugarland singer, 37, quietly tied the knot Saturday in a small, sunset ceremony in Tennessee.

Wearing an Alexander McQueen gown, Jennifer married entrepreneur Justin Miller at a chapel nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in front of an intimate group of close family and friends, including bandmate Kristian Bush.

Justin is a former model who's been dating Jennifer for more than two years. He appeared in the video for the band's 2006 single, "Want To," and accompanied Jennifer to the CMA Awards on Nov. 9, where Sugarland took home the award for vocal duo of the year.

But the honeymoon may have to wait, since Jennifer is performing Wednesday with Lady Gaga at the Grammy Nomination Concert Live, and hosting the annual CMA Country Christmas special, airing Thursday on ABC at 9 p.m. ET.

Murray Sentenced to Four Years in Michael Jackson's Death...

Dr. Conrad Murray was sentenced Tuesday to the maximum penalty of four years behind bars for administering a lethal dose of a powerful anesthetic to Michael Jackson.

"He violated the trust of the medical community, of his colleagues and of his patient," said Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor, "and he has absolutely no sense of remorse, absolutely no sense of fault, and is and remains dangerous."

Conrad, 58, was convicted of manslaughter in the 2009 death of the pop star at age 50 as he was preparing for a major concert series in the U.K.

At a sentencing hearing, Michael family attorney Brian Panish told the court, "We're are not here to seek revenge. There is nothing that you can do today that will bring back Michael." But the family joined the prosecution in seeking the maximum sentence.

As Panish spoke, Michael's mother Katherine Jackson became teary eyed. Michael's brothers Randy and Jermaine and sister La Toya also were in the audience section.
