Saturday, July 14, 2012Hello Everyone...
I've been a mild fan of Neil Young's for a while, hearing various singles here and there. It started with Ohio, a first-rate protest song that I really dug. I've seen a few documentaries here and there, and he seems like a cool guy, never sticking to the same formula for too long.
I was shuffling through different radio stations the other day, to ones I haven't listened to, and was immediately drawn to his latest song, Oh Susannah, before I even knew who was singing. The tune is really cool - apparently he's been taking old folk songs and breathing new life into them with his band, Crazy Horse. Give it a quick search, it deserves a lot of attention for such a cool project. Also fun fact I just learned: Young is actually Canadian.
