John 20:28-31

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seem Me, you
have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet
have believed."

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His
disciples which are not written in this book; but these are
written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the
Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Several people have written asking questions about scenes
depicted in the movie, "Passion of the Christ." The reason
that many of the scenes in this movie cannot be found in the
Bible is because they are not in the Bible.

Many of them are described in extra-Biblical writings which
must be tested against the Word of God for validity. I am
always amazed at the "artistic license" taken in these types
of endeavors, as if the Word of God isn't incredible enough
in all the detail it gives.

In fact, if we believe the Bible is inspired by the Holy
Spirit of God, it gives all the detail we need!

God Bless You!

like a pony."

Q. Who took Jesus' body from the cross to bury Him?

A. Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus

After this, Joseph of Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus,
but secretly, for fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he
might take away the body of Jesus.

And Nicodemus, who at first came to Jesus by night, also
came, bringing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred
pounds. Then they took the body of Jesus and bound it in
strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews
is to bury.

John 19:38-40

All four gospels record Joseph of Arimathea taking away
Jesus' body for burial. Only John records the presence of
