Pregnant Beyonce celebrated her 30th birthday in Italy over the weekend.

The "Crazy In Love" hitmaker and her husband Jay-Z jetted to the romantic city of Venice to mark the occasion.

Beyonce was snapped showing off her growing baby bump in a bright maxi-dress while strolling hand-in-hand through the streets with a more casual Jay-Z, who was clad in jeans and a white button-down shirt.

According to reports, the couple dined at one of the city's most celebrated restaurants on Sunday, to mark Beyonce's official birthday.

Eddie Murphy confirmed as Oscars host...

Eddie Murphy has been confirmed as the host of the 2012 Oscars.

Telecast producers Brett Ratner and Don Mischer made the official announcement on Tuesday just days after the "Rush Hour" director made it clear that the funnyman was his first choice to host the 84th annual awards show in February.

Ratner says, "Eddie is a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever. With his love of movies, history of crafting unforgettable characters and his iconic performances, especially on stage, I know he will bring excitement, spontaneity and tremendous heart to the show Don and I want to produce in February."

Eddie adds, "I am enormously honored to join the great list of past Academy Award hosts from Bob Hope and Johnny Carson to Billy Crystal, Steve Martin and Whoopi Goldberg, among others.

"I'm looking forward to working with Brett and Don on creating a show that is enjoyable for both the fans at home and for the audience at the Kodak Theatre as we all come together to celebrate and recognize the great film contributions and collaborations from the past year."

Eddie has never won an Oscar but he was nominated in 2006 for his supporting role in "Dreamgirls."

Oscars bosses are hoping Eddie will be a big hit among film fans and critics after they were savaged for the appointment of Anne Hathaway and James Franco as co-hosts at this year's Academy Awards.

Anthony Michael Hall arrested after dispute with neighbor...

Eighties Brat Pack star Anthony Michael Hall has been arrested after a fight with a neighbor.

"The Breakfast Club" star was arrested on Monday night on suspicion of disturbing the peace after the neighbor in the dispute told police that Hall had threatened to "beat him to a pulp" after he confronted him to ask why he was ripping up plants in a common area of their condominium complex.

The actor allegedly knocked on the man's front door a little later and challenged him to a fight. The unnamed man refused to leave his home and called the police.

Police arrived and Hall was taken into custody.

Cline Dion's Montreal-Area Home Broken Into...

There's no place like home, especially Cline Dion's.

Just ask the guy who was caught after allegedly breaking in.

In fact, Daniel Bedard, 36, was about to step into the bathtub of the Montreal-area residence on Monday when law officers, tipped off by the alarm system, showed up at the house with a canine unit.

Already, they say, the bather had helped himself to some sweets from the singer's kitchen.

"He opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish bath and he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the 'fridge,' " Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova said.

When confronted by police inside the home, Bedard reportedly told them: "Hey, guys what are you doing here?"

Police repeated the same question back to him, then arrested and charged Bedard with breaking and entering, auto theft and causing property damage (after he jumped the fence onto the property).

The arraignment was Tuesday.

And where were Dion and husband Ren Anglil when all this was going on? They were believed to be at their Florida residence.

Randy Houser Ties the Knot...

It was a Caribbean-country wedding day.

On Friday, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, country singer Randy Houser wed Jessa Lee Yantz in an intimate ceremony before 20 family members and close friends, Randy's says.

The couple, who announced their engagement in July, were married by their close friend Rob Hatch in a sunset ceremony. The groom, 34, and bride, 29, exchanged self penned vows.

Of course, Randy and Jessa, both singer-songwriters, incorporated music into their big day as well, singing an acappella version of "Have I Told You Lately That I Love You."

Their ceremony was just the latest in a highly-personalized love story: After Randy proposed, he and Jessa customized her engagement ring with a jeweler to reflect her style.

LOOSE LIPS:
"It's really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan. She's an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life." Glee star Dianna Agron, on keeping her private life private, to Cosmopolitan.

It's Adele...

The "Rolling in the Deep" hitmaker ended her last relationship around her 23rd birthday in May but she has no plans to sing about her heartache on her next album, because her unnamed ex would be delighted.

She comments, "I hate being single. It's really hard. To be honest, I got a bit burned back in May around my birthday.

"I know he'd be over the moon if I wrote a record about him. But no way is that boy getting a record about him. No way, he would ride that wave forever, that's how much of a d**khead he is. He would ride that wave forever. Get a life, you idiot!

"We've got the same friends and they'll all be watching this interview 'cause he's obsessed, and they'll all be going, 'Loser!'"

Adele has previously admitted the tracks on her first two albums, 19 and 21, were inspired by her ex-boyfriends and painful break-ups.
