Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny reunite on 'X-Files' set
Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny have started work on The X-Files revival.

The 46-year-old actress and 54-year-old actor were spotted filming this week in Vancouver, Canada. Anderson and Duchovny portrayed Dana Scully and Fox Mulder on the original Fox series, and will reprise the roles for the new season.

Anderson teased fans last week with a photo of her freshly-dyed red hair, and shared a picture of her and Duchovny's director's chairs Monday. She also posted a snapshot of herself atop her new apple box, the prop she stands on to make up for her height disparity with the actor.

Community star Joel McHale will appear on the revival, and shared photos from set Monday and Tuesday. He captioned the pictures, "Shooting @xfilesfox today! So excited. This shot (spoiler) is from near the set" and "More spoilers from the @xfilesfox. #Secrets #IWantToBelieve."

The X-Files previously ran for nine seasons from 1993 to 2002, and will return as a six-episode limited series in Jan. 2016. The series follows Scully and Mulder as they investigate unsolved cases involving paranormal phenomena.

J.K. Rowling confirms existance of American Hogwarts
J.K. Rowling delighted American Harry Potter fans Tuesday by dropping hints about the U.S. counterpart to Britain's beloved school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Rowling told fans during a Twitter Q&A that an American version of Hogwarts will be mentioned in the upcoming spin-off film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Rowling, who is writing the screenplay, told one Twitter user that the film's main character, Newt Scamander, will meet people educated at an American school.

"He's going to meet people who were educated at [name] in [not New York]," Rowling tweeted.

Rowling added in subsequent tweets that the name of the school will be of "immigrant origin."

She also said that American Indian "magic was important in the founding of the school," but was careful to keep specific details to herself.

"If I say which tribes, location is revealed," Rowling tweeted.

Fantastic Beasts, which will star Eddie Redmayne as Scamander, is due in theaters Nov. 2016.

Jon Bernthal to play Frank Castle/The Punisher for Season 2 of 'Daredevil'
Jon Bernthal will play Frank Castle/The Punisher in Season 2 of Marvel's Daredevil, which is to premiere in 2016, Netflix announced Tuesday.

The well-known comic-book character is described as "a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City's Hell's Kitchen by any means necessary -- no matter how lethal the results."

"Castle's appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same."

The series co-stars Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Rosario Dawson.

Best known for playing Shane on The Walking Dead, Bernthal will also appear in the upcoming action thriller The Accountant.

Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw to journey throughout Asia for docu-series
Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, George Foreman and Jeff Dye have signed on to star in the travel docu-series Better Late Than Never, NBC announced.

The one-hour program is to begin production in August.

The actors, former athletes and comedian will travel to Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Chang Mai, embarking on "the ultimate international excursion with no assistants, no limousines and no lattes, in search of an intimate, life-changing experience," the network said in a news release.

"The five will navigate their way through each city -- communicating with the local population, immersing themselves in local traditions and enjoying exotic food -- all the while dealing with the unexpected twists and turns that any trip presents. As they check off items on their own personal 'bucket list,' the five will rely on each other for support and encouragement and, in the process, demonstrate that friendship is the ultimate gift."
