Here's the Scoop...

Had such a great time this past weekend with my mom at the casino. Sunday was her birthday and she came home a big winner!

When we got home my brother, his wife and my nephews all came over and we watched football all day. She said it was one of her best birthday's. She got so many gifts she was like a little kid again.

I posted a picture on my twitter account of my mom. This was taken at a restaurant shortly after her big win.

She constantly amazes me. At 88, blind in one eye and limited vision in another she is one tough lady. She doesn't complain much and just accepts things as they come.

So let's get to the nooz!

Be Well,
Anisa

You've Gotta Love Mindy!...
Mindy Kaling is carrying her "Wreath Witherspoon" joke into award season.

The 35-year-old actress introduced the joke -- a nod to Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon -- on the Christmas episode of her FOX sitcom The Mindy Kaling Project.

Fans soon started to create their own "Wreath Witherspoons" and shared pictures of them on Instagram and even Witherspoon herself got in on the joke.

Now, about a month later, Kaling has struck again by sending the Oscar-nominated actress an Academy Award-themed "Wreath Witherspoon."

The actress, who is nominated for an Oscar for her role in Wild, thanked Kaling for the "best gift ever" on Instagram.

I mean... C'mon! Best gift ever ! Thanks @mindykaling for my #WreathWitherspoon #Oscar edition. #YesItsOnMyFrontDoor A photo posted by Reese Witherspoon (@reesewitherspoon) on Jan 18, 2015 at 9:35am PST

Witherspoon's Oscar-nomination for Wild comes 10 years after she earned her first Academy Awards for her portrayal of June Carter in Walk The Line. This is her second nomination since earning the honor.

Are They Dating?...
Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin were spotted together on a dinner date in Los Angeles on Thursday, despite previous reports that the pair ended their brief relationship last October.

A source told E! News that Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 37, met up for a candlelit dinner at Madeo, an Italian restaurant in West Hollywood.

"The two were very sweet with each other," the source said.

A source told People that they were "smiling, talking and very friendly."

The Mockingjay actress and Coldplay frontman started dating privately last summer, according to media reports. They were thought to have ended the relationship in October.

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, who separated from Martin last March, told Howard Stern last week that her ex "wouldn't date someone who wasn't great."

"It's his decision," she said.

??? Guess Who ???

This famous rocker says she and all her, equally famous, bandmates were drug addicts....

How Could This Be?...
Patrick Stewart told interviewer Larry King he will not appear as his iconic character Professor Xavier in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse.

"No. Nor Sir Ian McKellen either," Stewart said about his longtime friend and frequent collaborator.

"I was learning quite a lot more about it last night and it is going to be looking very much at the earlier lives of all our characters," Stewart explained. "And, so, I don't think we'll be making an appearance."

Stewart and McKellen starred as Xavier and Magneto in several X-Men movies, but the most recent films were prequels that re-cast the characters with younger actors James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender.

Could '24' Go On Without Kiefer Sutherland?...
Fox says it is developing a standalone television event that would focus on 24 characters other than actor Kiefer Sutherland's world-saving government agent Jack Bauer.

"We have discussed it with him," Entertainment Weekly quoted Fox Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dana Walden as telling television critics in Pasadena this weekend.

"We talk to Kiefer all the time. He's a great creative partner, potentially he won't be in this installment. We're not sure yet. We're not that far along, but I know he supports us doing more 24," Walden said. "First of all, we're not talking about continuing the show without him. ... We're talking about whether there's one installment that he's not in. I think if the storytelling is exciting enough, that real-time element that the show really owns -- so many of the production aspects are so unique to that show -- I do [think we could do it without him]. I think [it could be] great characters with that creative team. I look at everyone that's surrounded Kiefer in the last installment and I think it could work."

The last entry in the small-screen franchise was the London-set 24: Live Another Day limited event, which aired last year with Sutherland reprising the role he played for eight seasons from 2001-10.

??? Guess Who ???

The rocker who says she and all her bandmates were drug addicts?????

It's Stevie Nicks... Stevie recently opened up about her past drug use during her tenure with the classic rock superstars.

"All of us were drug addicts," Nicks told Rolling Stone from her home in Los Angeles.

"But there was a point where I was the worst drug addict ... I was a girl, I was fragile, and I was doing a lot of coke. And I had that hole in my nose. So it was dangerous."

Nicks' habit got so bad, the eponymous frontman of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had to step in and tell Nicks to get her life in order.

"I did all I could to talk her into getting some help and getting right," Petty said.

"I was very worried about her. To the point that if the phone did ring and they said, 'Stevie died,' I wouldn't have been surprised."

Now, Nicks says her only narcotic indulgence is marijuana, which she only uses in moderation for inspiration.

"When I'm writing, I will allow myself to smoke a little bit of pot. It's my one little thing that I can do. I use it as a tool, and I'm very careful, you know? And I get results."
