Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom dress as Mrs. Claus, Santa for hospital visit
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom spread holiday cheer to sick kids this week.

The 32-year-old American singer and 39-year-old English actor dressed as Mrs. Claus and Santa to visit Children's Hospital Los Angeles on Tuesday.

"Never naughty, always nice. The kids at CHLA received a much-deserved visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus ... who happen to look a lot like Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom!" the institution wrote on Facebook.

Perry and Bloom joined families to sing carols, hand out gifts and pose for photos, according to Us Weekly. One parent described the couple's visit as "beautiful" in a subsequent Instagram post.

"Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom came an sang us Christmas carols. It was so beautiful. I'm so very thankful an we got news we get to come home tomorrow," the happy mom wrote.

Perry and Bloom are both involved with various charities, including the Children's Defense Fund, UNICEF and the Red Cross. The singer was honored at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in November, and praised Bloom at the event.

"It's so funny -- he was the previous award recipient," she told E! News. "He's just got the most kind heart ever."

"I try to take my light -- whatever kind of global light I have, whether it's on social media or any kind of influence -- I try and steer that to what those people need and just bring awareness," the star explained.

Perry and Bloom were first linked in January, and sparked engagement rumors in November. The singer was spotted wearing a massive ring on her left hand during a date with Bloom in New York.

Michelle Williams: Best friend Busy Philipps is 'the love of my life'
Michelle Williams shared her love for best friend Busy Philipps this week.

The 36-year-old actress gushed about her close pal and former Dawson's Creek co-star while attending a New York screening of Manchester by the Sea.

"I'm here with my best friend," she told People at the event. "I'm so in love with her. She's proof that the love of your life does not have to be a man! That's the love of my life right there."

Philipps later posted a side-by-side comparison of herself and Williams in 2001 and at the screening. The pair both wore black to the event, with Philipps in a simple frock with lace and Williams in a minidress with sheer overlay.

"2001/2016 I love that we almost always stand on the same side of each other," the 37-year-old actress captioned the picture on Instagram.

"Also, can I just say - we aren't at a costume party in 2011. That's legit how we were dressed for a regular night out. I guess I really was my character from Cougartown? And thank God my eyebrows grew back," she joked.

Williams and Philipps played Jen Lindley and Audrey Liddell on Dawson's Creek, which had a six-season run on The WB from 1998 to 2003. Their co-star Joshua Jackson recently cited Williams' character's death as one reason a potential reunion wouldn't work.

"One, we killed Michelle at the end of the season. The other thing is it's been a very long time," he said this month on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I think for anybody who's a fan of Dawson's, to actually see the four of us on camera again might be a little bit shocking and kind of heartbreaking," the actor elaborated.

Williams was last romantically linked to Everything is Illuminated author Jonathan Safran Foer. She shares 11-year-old daughter Matilda Ledger with late ex-boyfriend Heath Ledger, whom she dated from 2004 to 2007.

Olivia Wilde cut her hair this week to evade comparisons to Melania Trump.

The 32-year-old actress revealed Monday on Instagram that she chopped off her locks to avoid resembling the future first lady.

"Feelin myself apparently. Thanks to the master @harryjoshhair for the chop. #nomoremelaniahair," she captioned a photo of her new 'do.

Wilde's comment drew ire from supporters of Trump and her husband, president-elect Donald Trump. Several others criticized the star for her perceived hypocrisy in "bullying" another woman.

"Really???? How immature you are! Melania has more class than you will ever have. Time to grow up Olivia and face the fact that Trump is our next president whether you like it or not. #getoveryourself," one person wrote.

"I am just so blown away by your hypocrisy. The liberal view has always been to support other woman and never bully anyone but here we are yet again with another celebrity bulling another woman. You can't have it both ways. Very disappointing I must say. You really are a cruel person," another added.

Wilde has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump and his policies. She slammed the businessman in an interview with Page Six in October after attending a screening of the short film Ellis, which explores the struggles of early immigrants.

"It made me think of the current refugee Crisis," she said of the film. "[America] was a beacon of hope for so many ... yet some in this country have developed this xenophobia that totally conflicts with what we're based on."

"The fact that we can have someone running for president who openly projects that xenophobia is really sickening, particularly when you look at a film like this and remember our roots," the star added.
