Here's the Scoop...

It's one of those days... a massive headache that nothing I do is helping it.

It couldn't happen at a worse time of the year.

Hopefully it will rain and it'll go away. That's usually what happens.

Be Well,
Anisa

'Gotham' Casts Lori Petty, Michael Bowen, Teases Mr. Freeze...
Fox's hit Batman prequel series Gotham has cast Lori Petty and Michael Bowen in new roles when the show returns in February.

According to Variety, Petty, who was last seen as Lolly on Orange is the New Black will guest star in an upcoming episode as Jeri, a "flamboyant and enigmatic hostess of an underground club where mass murder and art are celebrated in equal measure.

Jeri will reportedly help out young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) hunt down his parents' killer before being less cooperative with future Gotham city police commissioner Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

Bruce's hunt may lead him to Matches Malone, a new character on the show set to be played by Bowen whom Silver St. Cloud (Natalie Alyn Lind) outed as the culprit earlier in the season."One of Gotham's deadliest killers, Matches Malone is a weathered, philosophical hitman who may be the triggerman behind one of the most important crimes in Gotham's history," reads the characters' description.

Also joining Gotham when the show returns in February is Victor Fries, aka Mr. Freeze (Nathan Darrow). Fox teased the character's arrival on Facebook Monday with a new teaser showing a Gotham City police badge being frozen before shattering. "It's getting chilly in Gotham," wrote the network.

Back in October, Jurassic World actor B.D Wong also signed on to star in Gotham as villain Hugo Strange.

Colton Hayes Shares His Struggles With 'intense anxiety'...
Actor Colton Haynes has gotten personal on social media on his real-life struggles with "intense anxiety."

The former Arrow and Teen Wolf star took to Twitter Tuesday and started a heartfelt discussion on the matter by sharing an article from Upvoted about how anxiety can affect social status.

"For those of you who are suffering with intense anxiety...ur not alone. It's been a constant struggle for me since 5th grade. It's a battle," Haynes wrote diving deeper into how anxiety affected him both physically and emotionally.

"Anxiety had put me in the hospital a countless amount of times. Whether it be fainting, hyperventilating, or seizures...I've been through it," he continued. "Just know ur not alone & it affects more ppl than you would ever know. We can overcome this. We can fight thru it & will."

Haynes continued to open up stating that anxiety even affected his professional and personal relationships. "I've quite jobs because of anxiety, flaked on social events, family gatherings, birthdays, important movie/work tests," he wrote. "Its a serious problem."

Ultimately however Hayne's message was one of hope, wanting fans to learn from his experience and for those that could relate to know that they are not struggling with anxiety alone."Be there for those who struggle with anxiety & realize its a serious disorder. Its not a case of 'being dramatic'...its a life long struggle."

"Love those suffering. Anxiety has caused me to be extremely agoraphobic & livin in constant fear of leavin my house at times. Ur not alone," he concluded.

Meg Ryan On Aging in Hollywood: 'I feel easy with things now'...
When it comes to aging, actress and director Meg Ryan believes there are more important things to talk about.

Speaking with Porter magazine in an interview published in its December issue, Ryan, 54, said despite Hollywood's negative fixation on the appearances of aging stars, she loves her age.

"I love my life right now," she told the outlet, which celebrated "incredible women" and featured Emma Watson on the cover. "I love the person I've become, the one I've evolved into. In my life I've been scrappy as hell, but I feel easy with things now. I think that comes with age."

When it comes to the media's reaction to her visible aging, the When Harry Met Sally actress says the conversation "about looks and hair and our roots," is "interesting and funny for five minutes, but it's not that interesting."

Discussing her personal life in the rare interview, Ryan mentions she still works with her ex, John Mellencamp, having hired him to write music for her directorial debut, Ithaca.

"He's world class," she told Porter. "There's not one speck of music that's not his. He's got some kind of magic touch."

The actress, who keeps much of her life from the public eye, most recently made an appearance in July at the Schiaparelli fashion show during Paris Haute Couture Week. She split from John Mellencamp, who is now reportedly dating supermodel Christie Brinkley, last year.

??? Guess Who ???

The veteran actress who was pressured to lose weight for her latest movie?

It's Carrie Fisher... The 59-year-old actress revealed as much in an interview for the January issue of Good Housekeeping U.K. Fisher will reprise Princess Leia in the forthcoming film, nearly 40 years after she first portrayed the character in the 1977 movie Star Wars.

"They don't want to hire all of me -- only about three-quarters!" she quipped. "Nothing changes: it's an appearance-driven thing. I'm in a business where the only thing that matters is weight and appearance. That is so messed up. They might as well say get younger, because that's how easy it is!"

"I did it the same way everybody has to -- don't eat and exercise more!" she shared. "And when I do lose the weight, I don't like that it makes me feel good about myself. It's not who I am. My problem is they talk to me like an actress, but I hear them like a writer."

Fisher famously wore a metal bikini at age 25 in the 1983 sequel Return of the Jedi, and recently instructed Star Wars newcomer Daisy Ridley to "fight for [her] outfit," advising, "Don't be a slave like I was ... You keep fighting against that slave outfit."

"We treat beauty like an accomplishment, and that is insane," she told Good Housekeeping. "Everyone in LA says, 'Oh, you look good,' and you listen for them to say you've lost weight. It's never, 'How are you?' or, 'You seem happy!'"
