Jessica Alba has gone public with her plans to adopt on TV.
During a taped appearance on hit show "Extreme Makeover: Home
Edition," which aired on Sunday, the actress revealed she's
making big plans to extend her family.
She said, "My mom grew up around a huge family, and they always
wanted more kids... I'm totally inspired. If you have the love,
and the capacity to love children, you should just adopt. And I
plan on doing it."
Jessica has one child, daughter Honor, with husband Cash Warren.

Mark McGrath Is Engaged and Expecting ? Twins...
No stranger to screaming fans, Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath
is bracing himself for his loudest admirers yet.
The rocker and his longtime love, Carin Kingsland, are expecting
twins ? a boy and a girl ? in May!
"I'm so excited," says Mark. "My DNA paranoia is kicking in:
I've got to feed these children. We've got to get the nursery
together. And what do you do when you bring the kids home?"
"Most parents are like, 'Oh, the wonders of child rearing,'" he
says with an exaggerated sigh. "But we're freaking out! The
first year is going to be gnarly."
All joking aside, Mark says it felt "surreal" when Kingsland's
doctor confirmed that not only that she was pregnant via IVF,
but that she was carrying two babies.
"I love them already, but I need them to come out so I can really
shower them with love," says Mark, who will host Fox's Don't
Forget the Lyrics! next fall (auditions start this month) and
perform with Sugar Ray this summer. "I can't wait to meet them."

Whoopi Goldberg confesses to cheating while married...
Whoopi Goldberg has come to the defense of Sandra Bullock's
embattled husband Jesse James as he fights allegations of
infidelity, insisting she can understand why he would cheat,
because she "screwed around" during her three marriages.
Sandra walked out on Jesse in early March after the TV mechanic
was reported to have had an 11-month affair with tattoo model
Michelle McGee last year.
But Whoopi has called on critics to stop judging Jesse until
they've heard the full story from the man himself, because
tabloid claims are not always so straightforward.
And Whoopi admits she could see why a spouse would cheat, just
like she did when she was a married woman.
She confesses on the daytime TV show "The View," "I did it
(cheated) five or six times... Yes, I screwed around while I
was married, yeah. I made mistakes too. It happens sometimes.
"Maybe he was trying to find something different too. I'm not
excusing what I'm doing as, 'Hey, maybe there's something else
to look at here' as opposed to just saying, 'Hey, he's a
bonehead.' Maybe he just wanted something wonderful in his life
(married a star) and couldn't deal with it. It's just a
possibility, I know it's crazy."

Sheridan Sues Over Housewives Firing, Alleges Assault on Set...
It's a lawsuit worthy of a juicy Desperate Housewives storyline.
Nicollette Sheridan alleges the show's creator hit her in the
face on the set and that she was then fired in retaliation for
complaining about him, "resulting in her losing millions in
future earnings," says the suit filed Monday in Los Angeles
Superior Court.
Nicollette, whose character was killed off the show last year,
is suing for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, gender
violence and wrongful termination. She claims series creator
Marc Cherry created a hostile work environment, "behaving in
an extremely abusive and aggressive manner."
Nicollette, a Golden Globe nominee who played sexy Realtor Edie
Britt, claims that Cherry directed his abuse at other cast and
crew members, even at star Teri Hatcher after she went above
his head to ABC executives.
"I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies," Cherry told
Nicollette, according to the lawsuit.

Talk about girl power: This summer, Rihanna will take her smash
album Rated R on the road for her "Last Girl On Earth" North
American tour.
She'll also be joined by up and coming pop star Ke$ha.

Seattle July 2, and make 25 total stops, including Los Angeles
on July 21 and Madison Square Garden in N.Y.C. on Aug. 12 ?

Sandra Bullock: 'There Is No Sex Tape'...
Sandra Bullock has broken her silence during her marriage crisis,
denying an Internet report there's a sex tape with her and husband
Jesse James.
"There is no sex tape," she says in a statement on Tuesday. "There =
never has been one and there never will be one."
Until now, Sandra had not commented, remaining in seclusion since
reports surfaced that Jesse allegedly had cheated on her with at
least four other women.
Sandra has been in touch with a close circle of friends, including
comedian George Lopez, who visited her for a second time on Monday.
She spoke out in response to an online report that Jesse possesses
a graphic sex tape which he could possibly use as leverage in a
divorce case.

Christina, who plays a struggling dancer in the upcoming film,
drew upon her own experiences with an abusive father to conjure
up the emotions needed to portray the character.
She tells Britain's OK! magazine, "The girl I play, Ali, has a
rough past, her mother dies when she's very young and she's
been in foster homes. I could relate to that pain, growing up
in an abusive household.
"That gave me great motivation to provoke my tears for those
scenes where I had to really pour it on. I felt it deeply, to
go through a lot of those things that brought up a lot of
painful memories."
