Britney Spears and Demi Lovato quit 'X Factor' audition...

Britney Spears and Demi Lovato walked out of an audition on the version of "The X Factor" on Saturday after a would-be contestant refused to look at them.

The two singers serve as judges on the new series of the show, but they quit the studio alongside music moguls Antonio 'L.A.' Reid and Louis Walsh when the unnamed hopeful turned his back on them.

An onlooker at the audition in Kansas City, Missouri says, "It was really awkward. You could tell the judges were done. I don't think they had a choice. They didn't want to waste their time."

Another source adds, "(The contestant) was one of the worst singers and had a bad attitude... (The judges) all hated it and walked off."

Irish boyband boss Walsh jetted to Kansas to temporarily replace his pal Simon Cowell as a judge on the show while he recovers from a bout of bronchitis.

Gaga gets a concussion during performance...

Lady Gaga was left dazed and confused during a show in New Zealand on Sunday when a dancer accidentally hit her on the head with a pole.

The singer suffered a concussion but refused to stop the Born This Way Ball show in Auckland.

According to reports, the Poker Face singer continued with the performance for another 16 songs before telling fans, "I want to apologize. I hit my head and I think I may have a concussion but don't you worry I will finish this show."

Lady Gaga's make-up artist later took to Twitter.com to assure fans the star would be OK, writing, "Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay. She wants u to know she loves u. I'm taking care of her. cant believe she finished the show."

Ironically, Gaga's concussion comes a week after pop peer Justin Bieber knocked himself out during a concert in Paris. He also suffered a concussion.

Carrie Underwood advises Miley Cyrus to have long engagement...

Carrie Underwood has advised Miley Cyrus to enjoy a long engagement to Liam Hemsworth because the country star wishes she'd had more time to plan her wedding to Mike Fisher.

The singer/actress announced on Wednesday that Liam had asked her to be his wife on May 31 after a three-year romance.

The stars have not yet revealed when they plan on exchanging vows, but Carrie - who married ice hockey star Fisher in July 2010, just six months after he proposed - has advised the happy couple to take their wedding plans slowly.

She explains, "For me, planning, I wish we could have been engaged a little bit longer but our schedules were like, 'We can get married this day', so that's what we had.

"(My advice is) just take it easy. If you can be engaged for a while I'm sure that's really nice, plan everything slow and take your first couple of years just to really hang out together and enjoy it."

Lohan out of hospital after car wreck...

Lindsay Lohan is back at work on the set of new TV movie "Liz & Dick" after smashing up her Porsche in a freeway accident in Los Angeles on Friday.

The "Mean Girls" star was released from hospital on Friday afternoon and she headed straight for the set of the film.

A statement from her publicist reads: "Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set. She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution."

"She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident."

Reports suggest her sportscar was totaled in the collision with a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway. Lindsay's assistant, who was a passenger in the car, was left bloodied and bruised.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This singer stunned fans in Istanbul, Turkey on Saturday night when she bared her right breast during her latest stop on the MDNA tour.

It's Madonna...

The pop superstar was in the middle of performing her hit Human Nature when she purposely flashed her nipple in what clearly wasn't a Janet Jackson-esque wardrobe malfunction.

Fans roared their approval as the defiant 53-year-old singer made it clear she didn't care who she offended, turning her back on the audience to show off a temporary 'NO FEAR' tattoo.

The cheeky split-second nipple flash came as Madonna performed a striptease onstage.

It's not the first time she has sparked controversy since her MDNA tour got underway in Tel Aviv, Israel - she upset French National Front leader Marine Le Pen during one show last week when she projected an image of a Nazi swastika on the politician's forehead onto large screens around the stage.

Le Pen has threatened to sue Madonna if the incident is repeated when the pop star hits the stage in France in July.
