George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin may marry in the 'Downton Abbey' castle

George Clooney and fiancée Amal Alamuddin might rent the Downton Abbey castle for their upcoming wedding. The PBS program is set at Highclere Castle outside of London, an estate currently inhabited in real life by the Lord and Lady Carnarvon. The property is available for weddings, and a source tells the Daily Mail the couple is interested in the location. "George became close friends with Hugh Bonneville, who plays Lord Robert Crawley, when they did Monuments Men together last year," the source says. "They really hit it off. He contacted Hugh and asked him to arrange a private tour of the castle." Alamuddin is a fan of the show, and was reportedly "blown away" by the building and its grounds.
"When he saw his bride-to-be's reaction to the spectacular Victorian castle, set on 1,000 acres of parkland, he began making some discrete inquiries about having their wedding performed there," the source continues. "He was told they would be most happy to accommodate them!" Prices begin at $23,000 a night just to rent part of the castle. Clooney and Alamuddin have been together since 2013, and announced their engagement at the end of April.

Kendall Jenner is a new homeowner. The 18-year-old reality star has purchased a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo for just under $1.4 million. TMZ reports Kendall paid $1,399,000 for the property, and also took out a $910,000 mortgage. The unit is in a high rise building near the Westwood neighborhood in Los Angeles. It has 24-hour valet service in addition to a concierge and doorman, and also features a heated pool, fitness center and social room. Rolling Stones play first show since L'Wren Scott's death

Two months after the sudden death of his longtime girlfriend, prominent fashion designer L'Wren Scott, Mick Jagger and his Rolling Stone bandmates returned to the stage. The legendary musicians played the Telenor Arena in Oslo, Norway on Monday night, the first stop on their 14- ate European tour. The Rolling Stones were all set to perform in Perth, Australia when Jagger heard of Scott's suicide. He immediately canceled his tour dates in Australia and New Zealand and flew to Los Angeles to be with his family. "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way," he wrote on Facebook in March. "I will never forget her," he said. Jagger did not mention Scott's death during his two hour performance, according to Rolling Stone.
