Matthew McConaughey shedding 30 pounds for new role
Actor Matthew McConaughey is shedding the pounds to play a character with HIV in the upcoming movie 'The Dallas Buyers Club.' The actor is set to portray real-life American cowboy Ron Woodruff, who smuggles life-saving drugs across the Mexican border after contracting the disease during the 1980s. The project is due to begin filming in September, and now McConaughey, who recently beefed up to play a fit male stripper in 'Magic Mike,' has been forced to slim down for the part. He tells Larry King's new 'Ora' TV web series, I'm losing some weight. I've got a role coming up in the middle of September. I've lost about 15 pounds, I've gotta lose about 15 more. I should not look healthy by the time I'm doing (filming) this.' The 42-year-old still has a long way to go and the hard-working star admits the strict diet has already taken a toll on his health, adding, 'It's a bit of a spiritual cleanse, mental cleanse. (I'm) drinking a lot of tea. It takes a while for your body to understand that it has to feed off of itself and that you're not going to give it something else from the outside.'

Ozzy Osbourne hit with lawsuit over good deed
Ozzy Osbourne was hit with an $80,000 lawsuit after mistakenly throwing a bottle of water at a baby. The Black Sabbath star was performing a show in Phoenix, Ariz., as part of his annual Ozzfest tour when he spied a woman in the audience holding a 1-year-old child. The sympathetic singer tried dropping a bottle of water to the woman to help her stay cool in the blistering heat, but the container struck her baby and she later filed a lawsuit against the star. Osbourne's former guitarist Zakk Wylde tells music website Noisecreep.com, 'I remember an Ozzfest show in Phoenix. Some bonehead lady has like a 1-year-old there. Leave the [bleeping] kid home - or I'll take care of the baby backstage! Just get out of the heat, you idiot! 'Oz sees her and feels bad for the kid because Oz is a good guy. He tosses a bottle of water down. It hits the kid. Bam - $80,000 lawsuit.'

From Modern Family to Family Guy, Sofia Vergara's taking over television. The Colombian beauty will play Peter Griffin's fantasy love interest in an upcoming episode, EW exclusively reports. While daydreaming, Griffin imagines himself as a telenovela star with Vergara voicing his voluptuous lover. Later in the episode, Vergara lends her voice to another character, a woman selling roses in a restaurant where Quagmire is trying to convince Griffin to do him a big favor. Vergara will also appear on a hip hop-themed episode of The Cleveland Show on Oct. 7, where she'll play Tia Sofia, a character who tries to talk Cleveland into

Nick Stahl is once again getting treatment
Nick Stahl is once again getting treatment after going missing twice this year, according to a report. The Terminator 3 actor is attending AA meetings and is in contact with his family, reports TMZ.com. Stahl, 32, was reported missing by his wife Rose in May. He resurfaced later that month, only to go missing again in June after a stint in rehab. Rose told PEOPLE in May that her husband was in the throes of the worst addiction cycle of his life. He had turned down acting roles for nine months and lived apart from her and their 2-year-old daughter since February, she said.
