Here's the Scoop...

Did you see Star Wars over the weekend? I did and boy did I love it.

I have to say it was a bit emotional for me. I remembered the first time I went in the 70's. My dad took me. I couldn't stop thinking of him throughout the whole movie.

Be Well,

James Cromwell Arrested At Power Plant Protest in N.Y....
Actor and activist James Cromwell was arrested during a peaceful demonstration at New York's

Competitive Power Ventures power plant construction site.

"Power to the people!" Cromwell led the group of 30 protesters in chanting Friday, The Times Herald-Record reported.

The 75-year-old Babe and American Horror Story actor, along with two other protesters, were handcuffed by state police after they refused to stop blocking the plant's entrance.

The trio reportedly were bound by an interlocking device around their necks, which required a bolt cutter to remove. Three other people were also taken into police custody.

The six people were cited for disorderly conduct and released. They are scheduled to appear in Wawayanda Town Court on Jan. 4.

The protesters contend the plant will emit toxins, cause illness, lower property values and threaten species, such as the bog turtle and the northern long-eared bat, which live near the plant.

Martin Sheen is doing well after undergoing elective heart surgery this week.

The 75-year-old actor's eldest son, Emilio Estevez, revealed as much Wednesday on Facebook, telling fans Sheen had a "very successful quadruple bypass surgery" as a "proactive" measure, not an emergency situation.

"With my mother Janet and our family by his side and under the coordination of his extraordinary team of cardiologists, doctors and nurses, my father displayed great courage, strength and humility as he took on this challenge," the 53-year-old actor wrote.

"Not surprisingly, he is recovering beautifully, out of the ICU and is expected to not only be home for Christmas, but be 100% by the time he returns to work on season three of the Netflix series Grace and Frankie early next year," he added.

Estevez shared a photo of Sheen giving a thumbs up and holding a heart pillow from the hospital the next day, writing, "My Pop! Successful proactive quadruple bypass surgery this week! A great blessing indeed!"

??? Guess Who ???

The celebrity who says she is is 'opting out' of apologizing to the internet?

It's Tina Fey... has decided that she is done apologizing for jokes that commenters on the internet find offensive.

The Sisters star recently sat down with Net-a-Porter where she discussed her feelings regarding a controversial episode of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt in which Jane Krakowski's character Jacqueline Voorhees is seen rejecting her Native American heritage.

According to Fey, she plans on staying clear from the topic or engaging in it."We did an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt episode and the internet was in a whirlwind, calling it racist, but my new goal is not to explain jokes," she said.

"I feel like we put so much effort into writing and crafting everything, they need to speak for themselves," Fey continued. "There's a real culture of demanding apologies, and I'm opting out of that."

Kimmy Schmidt co-creator Robert Carlock brought up the backlash in March however explaining, "We have a couple of writers on staff with Native American heritage [...] So we felt like we had a little room to go in that direction ... wouldn't that be a crazy A-to-Z for her to deal with that, and maybe reconcile with it, and re-embrace who she really is, ultimately."

Fey was last seen hosting Saturday Night Live with her Sisters co-star Amy Poehler in which the pair sent up Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video with their own "Dope Squad" clip.
