Here's the Scoop...

I need a new show to watch. I'm not a reality show person or a zombie person or a teen drama person. I'm more of a 'Castle', 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia', 'The Muppets' kind of guy. Any suggestions?

Oh, and I'm not watching 'Bones' or 'Big Bang Theory'. How are those shows still on?

Be Well,
Steve

'Walking Dead' star Danai Gurira weighs in on 'Richonne' fever
Danai Gurira appeared on Sunday night's Talking Dead to discuss a major Season 6 plot development involving her katana-wielding, Walking Dead heroine Michonne.

"Well, that just happened and it was awesome and we have a lot to talk about!" Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick declared at the opening of his analysis program.

"We just saw the very moment that 'Richonne' became a thing," Hardwick said, referring to how longtime friends Michonne and Rick [played by Andrew Lincoln] finally became lovers. "All of social media's wishes have come true. People are crying in the streets and we are happy there is joy. The Richonne shippers will be shouting from the rooftops -- once they've regained consciousness."

Asked by Walking Dead super-fan and actress Yvette Nicole Brown what she would like to say to supporters about her new romance, Gurira smiled as she replied: "Please stop bugging me about it! I'm happy for you all and I am happy that I am not going to be cornered anymore about this dynamic happening. Because I get that a lot."

"The fan reaction has been entirely positive for this whole episode," Hardwick wanted Gurira to know.

"I think it's really exciting," the actress remarked, laughing. "It really is exciting to see fans respond with excitement about something good that happens on the show and that is really cool. It has been very interesting over the years, because it has built up, the sort of questions. ... Me and Andrew could not get through a panel or an interview without being asked that. ... The idea that [the timing of the romance] made sense, I think, is really cool. It made sense, it was an organic progression of these two characters and I think it was really mapped out by Mr. [Scott] Gimple, [the showrunner.]"

"This is a big episode in so many ways," Lincoln said in a pre-taped video. "I remember reading half of the script and it was weird because Danai kept saying, 'Oh, have you read it yet?' And I said: 'Yeah, I'm halfway through. It's good. It's great!' And she said, 'I think you should finish reading it.' And I read it and I was like: 'Oh, my goodness! My mom is going to be so thrilled.' It was such a great episode to shoot. I did the kiss scene with Danai and after we did the kiss, I went, 'It's a lot more fun working with you than Norman [Reedus.]'"
