Male Skinny Jeans... A Thing Of The Past
Men's skinny jeans came out in 2008 when the emo craze hit its peak and when the hipster began. However, after the craze began, men everywhere started wearing them, whether they could fit in them or not.
Skinny jeans for most men made them look very out of proportion. They did not allow for enough room to give a visual balance between the top half and the bottom half of a man.
Believe it or not, women don't like the look of most men in skinny jeans either. They want jeans on men to fit just right, a little loose on the top, little loose on the bottom. They don't want to see everything outlined in a man's jeans, much like men don't really like camel toe on women.
Also, skinny jeans on men can actually cause friction and sweating that can lead to trapped smells that are very unattractive when interacting with men (same can be said for women and skinny jeans though).
Don't worry though men, if you're a fan of the skinny jeans, designers do have a swap suggestion! Go for a slim-fit, more tailored pant instead! Slim-fit pants should skim the inside of your legs men, but not cling to them.
Three brands that make slim jeans are Levi's, Baldwin, and Diesel!
