1 Corinthians 13:5

[Love] thinks no evil.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Sometimes, it seems as if we are conditioned to think that the worst of things are happening, or is about to happen. Did you ever think, "Oh, what did I do wrong, now?"--if your boss says, "I need to talk to you." If you see some people talking together, and they glance your way, do you think to yourself, "They are talking about me!" If you do, you most likely think that they are saying negative things about you, and not positive! Most of all, if a stranger comes knocking at your door, or approaches your car, what is the first thought that pops into your head? Is it, "I wonder if this person needs help?" or is it "I wonder if this person is out to harm me?"

Love thinks no evil! Force your mind to reject the negative thoughts, and accept the positive ones. In another light, if others are accused of things, and you do not, for a fact, know the accusations to be true, do not accept them as true, and do not spread the 'bad news.'

God Bless You!

--TODAY'S NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did the Angel of the Lord ask Hagar to do?

Answer below.

--TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

Love, it has been said, flows downward. The love of parents for their children has always been far more powerful than that of children for their parents; and who among the sons of men ever loved God with a thousandth part of the love that God has manifested to us?

-August W. Hare

--FEATURED FUNNY:

One weekend my friend Sally, a nurse, was looking after her six-year-old nephew when he fell off a playground slide and hit his head. Worried that he might have a concussion, she checked him all night.

Every hour, she'd gently shake him and ask, "What's your name?" Soon, he began moaning in protest each time she entered the room.

When Sally went in at 5:00 A.M., she found something white on his forehead. Leaning close, she saw a crayon-scrawled message taped to his forehead. It read: "My name is Daniel."
