Here's the Scoop...

Dwayne Johnson says the forthcoming Jumanji reboot will pay tribute to Robin Williams. That Dwayne Johnson is a real class act.

The 44-year-old actor promised fans as much in an Instagram post Monday after starting work on the movie. Williams, who died at age 63 in 2014, played Alan Parrish in the original 1995 film.

"And the #Jumanji magic begins," Johnson wrote. "Excellent meeting with our director Jake Kasdan, producer Matt Tolmach, and our @SevenBucksProd team to work on our new re-imagining of this amazing story."

"An important thing that I want to be honest and bring up is Robin Williams," he added. "The love and respect I have for this man is boundless. You have my word, we will honor his name and the character of Alan Parrish."

"I have an idea of what to do and I think his family will be proud," the star revealed. "I also think Robin is somewhere lookin' down and laughing, remembering the first time we met backstage and I (for the first time ever) was a star struck bumbling idiot."

Johnson will produce and star in the remake, which opens July 28, 2014. Kevin Hart, who will co-star with the actor in Central Intelligence, and Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel cinematic universe, are rumored for the film.

"Shooting starts this fall," Johnson revealed when he announced his attachment to the movie in April. "Promise to deliver something cool and special.. and not screw the whole thing up. As always I'll keep you posted. Casting this should be fun!"

Dwayne Johnson rules!

Be Well,
Steve

Louis C.K. on the future of 'Louie:' 'I don't think I have stories for that guy anymore'
Louie creator and star Louis C.K. says he doesn't know if his celebrated sitcom will return from its hiatus and, if it does, what it might look like.

The show has been on a break since its Season 5 finale aired in May 2015.

"I think the guy that I played on the show -- the just-divorced kinda under-water dad/struggling New York comic -- I don't think I have stories for that guy anymore," the comedian and filmmaker said in an episode of The Hollywood Reporter's podcast that was posted Saturday.

"But, the show is autobiographical, so what [FX president and general manager] John Landgraf and I have always thought is that it may come back with a different set of stories from a different angle a little further down the road. And I don't know where that's from yet, so it just depends on if it writes. I think, for me, if I'm on TV again doing a single-camera show, it's Louie. But I don't know. I have no idea. I needed to not know if I'd ever do it again -- I needed to feel that way -- so that's the way I feel right now. ... I don't ever want to do the show because I owe another season. ... I don't think that's fair to anybody."

C.K. recently wrapped the first -- and likely only season -- of Horace and Pete, a web series he created and co-starred in with Steve Buscemi.

Which Canadian singer, I guess, get a face tattoo of a cross?

Idris Elba, Naiyana Garth together on BAFTA red carpet
Idris Elba and Naiyana Garth reunited on the red carpet for the 2016 BAFTA Television Awards.

The 43-year-old British actor and Garth attended the awards ceremony Sunday at the Royal Festival Hall in London three months after their reported split.

Elba and Garth were all smiles as they posed for photos, with the actor in a Tom Ford tuxedo and Garth in a shimmering black and gold gown. The pair were casually affectionate, with Elba wrapping his arm around the makeup artist.

The Luther star and Garth were rumored to have split in February after over two years of dating. The pair share 2-year-old son Winston, while Elba is also dad to 14-year-old daughter Asan with ex-wife Kim Norgaard.

Elba was nominated for Best Leading Actor for Luther, but lost to Mark Rylance in Wolf Hall. Wolf Hall also won Best Drama Series, while Doctor Foster actress Suranne Jones beat Wolf Hall's Claire Foy for Best Leading Actress.

"Unfortunately, I've lost my voice over the past two days, so I'm a little bit nervous if I should win, I won't have much to say," Elba said on the red carpet before addressing James Bond speculation, "It's the biggest rumor in the world. Who knows."

Elba plays Detective John Luther on Luther, which completed a fourth season in December. The actor will voice Fluke in Finding Dory before appearing in Star Trek Beyond and an adaptation of Stephen King series The Dark Tower.

Which Canadian singer, I guess, get a face tattoo of a cross?

Justin Bieber has a new tattoo -- and it's on his face.

The 22-year-old Canadian singer got a tattoo of a tiny cross near his left eye. Bieber showed off the ink on Instagram prior to his show Saturday in Philadelphia, Pa.

"Resting up for the show in Philly it's gonna be a good one mark my words," the star captioned a selfie featuring the new tattoo.

Sources told Us Weekly Bieber and friend Joe Termini got matching crosses at West 4 Tattoo shop Friday in New York. The singer's tattoo artist, Jonboy, later explained the significance of Bieber's ink.

"Justin came in last night and decided on a small cross near the corner of his eye," Jonboy told the magazine. "It represents his journey in finding purpose with God."

Bieber has several other tattoos, including one of ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez he has since tried to cover up. The singer previously expressed interest in a face tattoo to GQ magazine, but said he'd wait until he was older to get one.

"I think if they're done right, they could be cool, but nothing super crazy all over the face," he said. "Maybe when I'm really old, not super old, but maybe, like, 40s or 50s or something. One above my eyebrow or something small."

Bieber released his fourth studio album, Purpose, in November, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry." He kicked off his accompanying tour March 9 in Seattle, Wash.
