*-- Five Minute Makeovers for your Face --*

Our rush-rush lives often don't always make time for luxuries like beauty these days. But who wants to leave home looking less than their best? The solution lies in keeping a few five-minute makeover tricks up your sleeve, to give you a beauty boost on the days when you don't have the time for your full routine. When you are equipped with an assortment of essentials and a bit of style savvy, you will be ready to meet any last minute beauty crisis head on and ensure that you are always putting your best face forward.

Foundation in a Flash

If you need a cover pronto, go for a foundation stick that will allow you to spread, smooth and go in no time flat. And sticks will offer maximum coverage, which means that a concealer stick to hide those dark circles and blemishes may be unnecessary. Make sure that you follow up your foundation application with a quick sweep of blush over your cheeks - again, a blush stick can be applied much more quickly than the powder variety. For an all over dose of subtle color, sweep a bronzer with a large makeup brush instead. Instant glow to liven your complexion.

Eyes in an Instant

They say that your eyes are the windows to your soul, and you don't want your soul neglected in your five minute makeover. If you don't have time for shadow, or even mascara, simply give your eyelashes a speedy treatment with an eyelash curler to bring them out of hiding. Another possibility is false eyelashes, which go on a whole lot quicker and easier than they used to with self adhesive backing. Simply peel and press and you are ready to flutter those lashes all day long. If you feel naked without your shadow, use a brush to apply color rather than those dinky applicator sponges that come in the compacts. You'll get more color in less time for sure.

Lips that Lead the Pack

Lips are probably the easiest part of the five-minute makeover, since a quick sweep of gloss will perk up and dress up any mouth. Opt for a lip gloss that contains color as well, to give you a polished pair that are guaranteed to get noticed. If your five-minute makeover has a few seconds to spare, use a lip pencil to line lips and fill in with color before applying gloss. This will help to ensure that your lip color doesn't bleed, and will leave you with pretty lips even when your gloss begins to wear thin. Remember that beautiful lips will only go so far if the breath behind them isn't fresh and clean, so finish that quickie makeover with a breath mint or a swig of mouthwash.

Beauty may not get the front seat in your schedule every day, but you can still leave home with the confidence that you are looking your best. Keep those tools and products handy for a quick makeover when you need it, and every day will be beautiful.
