*-- Fashion Tips for Wearing Tall Boots --*

Tall boots are a fashion item that can make any woman feel sexy and regal. However, wearing tall boots and properly accessorizing them with your wardrobe can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you have never worn them before. If you've always wanted a pair of hot, tall boots but were too intimidated to buy them or feel you don't have what it takes to pull them off, don't worry, with a little know how you'll be a pro.

The first step is to know what types of tall boots there are. The three most common styles of tall boots are riding boots, classic boots and over the knee boots. Riding boots have been around for years. As the name implies, these boots were originally designed to be worn while riding on horseback. These types of boots reach up about mid-calf and are flat with wide leg openings. You can find riding boots that are fairly plain or designed with tabs or buckles. Despite the fact that such boots have been around since the time of kings and queens, it has only been recently that riding boots have come back into fashion. These days you can barely go anywhere without seeing someone strutting down the street in a stylish pair. If you want to try the riding boot style you can make it work with your wardrobe by pairing it with skinny jeans and layered tops. Add a scarf to finish off your look. Or you can even pair your riding boots with a nice dress, which can give you a casual dressy look.

If you want to keep things simple you can opt for classic style tall boots. The main features of this style include a stiletto heel and pointed toe. The great thing about this basic style is that it can go with just about any type of wardrobe. Most classic tall boots reach up to just below the knee and can be used to dress up or dress down an outfit. One of the most popular ways women wear classic tall boots is by pairing them with a colorful dress and tights - a long skirt can also work wonders when put together with tall boots but avoid wearing short, tight fitting skirts, which can give off a trashy look.

As the name implies, over the knee boots reach just over the knees and come with fold down flaps so that you can adjust the height. If this style is more suited to your tastes, you can throw this type of boot together with your favorite skinny jeans and virtually any top you want. From cardigans and blazers to sweaters and t-shirts, you can create a ton of great looks.

Tall boots have made their debut in the fashion world and because they are a fashion item that can be dressed up or dressed down, this makes it very versatile. Regardless of your style, you can use a good pair of tall boots to add the perfect touch to your next outfit.
