Lindsay Lohan cleared in hit-and-run investigation...Lindsay Lohan will not face prosecution over allegations of hit-and-run, the Los Angeles District Attorney has ruled.
The "Mean Girls" star found herself at the center of a new scandal amid claims she struck Thaer Kamal with her Porsche as she left The Sayers Club in L.A. in March.
After initially telling cops he didn't require medical attention, the alleged victim checked into a hospital emergency room for treatment and threatened to file an incident report.
Lohan denied the accusations and branded the claim "a complete lie."
However, the investigation stalled as neither Lohan nor Kamal chose to co-operate with officers, who were left with little evidence to prove a crime had been committed.
Authorities passed the files on to the District Attorney's office on Friday to decide upon any possible charges, but the case was rejected after officials deemed Kamal a "non credible witness," according to reports.
Detectives also studied surveillance tapes from the night in question and found there was "no collision."
Amanda Bynes in another car accident...Actress Amanda Bynes suffered another driving mishap on Friday after a minor car accident.
The "Hairspray" star was pulled over by cops in Hollywood after reportedly scraping her black Range Rover against another vehicle while trying to pass by near an intersection.
Amanda told police she was unaware that she had sideswiped the driver. She managed to escape citation and drove away after an official report was filed.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department explains, "She wasn't given a citation, no one was arrested, no one was hurt. She didnt even know she was involved in an accident. We took a traffic collision report and there will be no further investigation."
Last month, Amanda was arrested for driving under the influence following a small collision with a police patrol car. A week later, she was caught backing over a curb outside a nightclub.

Fox shuts down TV interview over baby question...Steve Jones' interview with Megan Fox was cut short on Thursday when the British TV personality breached guidelines by asking the actress about baby rumors.
The former host of "The X Factor" was chatting to the "Transformers" star about her new gig as the face of gadgets store The Sharper Image for "Entertainment Tonight" when he asked Fox about her favorite toy.
He then stumped her when he quipped, "Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants? A baby."
A puzzled Fox replied, "A baby?" She then added, "Oh, I know where you're going with this..."
The actress has yet to address ongoing reports suggesting she is expecting her first child with husband Brain Austin Green.
Jones pressed on and asked, "Any plans to give anybody a baby?"
Fox talked over the interviewer and said, "You hear the grumbles... No, no," before a publicist could be heard urging him to wrap up the interview.
The TV host ended the brief chat by stating, "Either way, Megan, it was a pleasure talking to you."
Speaking on the show after the interview, Jones joked, "I'd like to formerly apologize to Ms. Fox for attacking her with the word baby. Thankfully, there was a publicist there to stop me."

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*- This comedian plans to quit performing stand-up comedy in huge venues, insisting he's too old to carry on...
It's Jerry Seinfeld...The 58-year-old comedian played one of the biggest shows of his career at London's 20,000-capacity O2 Arena last year, and this month he's due to entertain 16,000 fans over two gigs in England.
But he's now revealed the shows are likely to be among his last ever arena concerts as he's planning to walk away from high-profile stand-up comedy before he's too old to get the laughs.
Seinfeld says, "I won't perform this size of show again. These things have their critical mass, which does not sustain indefinitely. I'm 57 now (sic). Do you really want to see a 67-year-old guy in front of 10,000 people? I don't want to. I'm going to let it wither and die."
