Hello Everyone -

Bob Marley was hands down one of the most influential and important figures in music in the past few decades. I only recently began to research Bob Marley, since reggae generally sounded too repetitive to me. It's difficult to even tell one Marley song from another if you only hear a few seconds of it.

But what it lacks in variation, reggae makes up for in pure emotion. It keeps that similar tone throughout the song with characteristic hooks that keep you swaying throughout. This is one of my favorite compositions, Concrete Jungle, about Marley's hometown and growing up on the streets as a boy.
