It's over!
Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, who proposed on the season
finale of The Bachelorette, have called off their engagement.
"I love him and I'm really sad, but I have to look out for
me," Jillian says.
Ed also commented, "We're both kind of resetting. Jillian
isn't happy and I'm definitely sad about the whole thing,
but we've got to work through some things on our own if
we decide to move forward."
Last August, reports claimed that Ed juggled two girlfriends
while wooing Jillian on the fifth season of the ABC show
(and even slept with one after proposing to Jillian, but
before the finale aired).
"There's bumps on the road, and we don't always deal with
them properly," Jillian said in early June. "Our life is
not always perfect."

Sobbing Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail...
If it was a performance, it deserved at least a nomination.
Instead, it earned her one of the worst pans of her life.
Staring down a terrifying stint in a cramped Los Angeles
County jail cell, Lindsay Lohan broke into tears Tuesday
as she pleaded with a Beverly Hills judge for understanding.
"I did everything I was told to do, I thought I was being
compliant," Lindsay cried as she tried to explain that
she didn't knowingly violate her probation in a DUI case
by missing weekly alcohol-education classes. "I'm not
taking this as a joke, it's my life and career. I don't
want you to think I don't respect you and your terms."
In the audience section, her father Michael Lohan, himself
no stranger to courtrooms due to his own battles with the
bottle, also wept, as did Lindsay's 16-year-old sister Ali.
In the end, the tears and tissues and smeared mascara held
no sway. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lindsay
to 90 days in jail and ordered the troubled actress to spend
another three months in rehab within two days after she's
sprung from jail.
"I couldn't have been more clear [about my orders]," Revel
said. "There are no excuses."
Lindsay was ordered to surrender to the court on July 20 to
begin her sentence, probably at the women's Century Regional
Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., where she previously
served just 84 minutes of a 24-hour sentence nearly three
years ago.
Upon her release from rehab, Lindsay will still be forbidden
from consuming alcohol until the remainder of her probation
term which ends in August 2011.

Cheryl Cole has Malaria...
It's been a rough year for Cheryl Cole. Not only did the Brit
file for divorce in May from her husband of four years, but
now she's been stricken with malaria.
So just who is this woman whose name's been floating around
the Web recently? And how did she get a disease that hasn't
afflicted Westerners since they dug the Panama Canal?
Cheryl rose to U.K. fame in 2002 after becoming a member of
pop group Girls Aloud. In 2008, she joined Simon Cowell as
one of the judges of X Factor, a British singing competition.
She's also been noted for her style, gracing the covers of
British Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar. Last year, she
became the new face of L'Oreal.
But Cheryl, who will be the opening act for select European
dates of the Black Eyed Peas' E.N.D. World Tour, collapsed
Saturday during a photo shoot for her album.
A spokesperson says she's being treated in a London hospital
for malaria, a mosquito-borne disease typically spread in
tropical areas. Cheryl reportedly just returned from a trip
to Tanzania, had to cancel all work this week.
Malaria, which is preventable to those who are immunized and
curable, has been all but eradicated in the developed
countries, but still plagues other parts of the world. The
World Health Organization says nearly 1 million people died
of malaria in 2008, mostly African children.

Justin Bieber targeted by Internet pranksters...
Justin Bieber has fallen victim to a series of cruel Internet
pranks after hackers infiltrated his YouTube page. fans were
allegedly fed false reports the singer had died in a car crash,
while others were redirected to porn sites.
Hordes of Justin's teenage devotees were sent into a panic on
Sunday after they accessed his page on the video-sharing
website only to be forwarded links to clips which claimed the
Canadian singer had passed away.
The hackers also allegedly embedded links in the page that
redirected users to explicit websites.
Bosses at Google, which owns YouTube, took immediate action to
remedy the problem and it was fixed within a matter of hours.
A statement from Google reads, "We took swift action to fix a...
vulnerability on Youtube.com that was discovered several hours
ago. Comments were temporarily hidden by default within an hour,
and we released a complete fix for the issue in about two hours.
We're continuing to study the vulnerability to help prevent
similar issues in the future."

Dave Chappelle's plane makes an emergency landing...
A private jet carrying Dave Chappelle was forced to make an
emergency landing on Friday night amid concerns over the
comedian's behavior.
The funnyman was flying from New Jersey to Ohio, but the plane
was diverted and landed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after Dave
reportedly "freaked out" and refused to put his seat belt on.
Crew members are said to have become concerned after Dave
allegedly barged into the cockpit and they decided to ground
the plane over safety fears.
A representative for Dave confirmed the incident to the website,
but explained he was feeling unwell and did not want to use the
bathroom on the plane.

Witness in 2001, and admits he often "freaked out"
householders when he arrived on their doorstep to talk
about his faith.
But Prince now changes his appearance so his superstar
status is not detected.
He comments, "Sometimes people act surprised but mostly
they're really cool about it...
"My hair is capable of doing a lot of different things.
I don't always look like this."
Prince's mentor, former Sly & The Family Stone star Larry
Graham, admits Prince has become so interested in the
