TMZ is reporting that authorities are suspicious of the
cause of Lisa Robin Kelly's death and both the L.A.
County Coroner and the L.A. County Sheriff are conducting
separate investigations. Kelly passed away last week while at a rehab facility.

Lily Tomlin, partner of 42 years, contemplating marriage
Lily Tomlin, interviewed at an event in Los Angeles, says she and her longtime partner, Jane Wagner, are now contemplating marriage. "We're thinking maybe we'll get married," she told E! Online. Tomlin, who celebrates her 74th birthday Sept. 1, said she never expected to see gay marriage become possible. Now, she thinks it would be a good step after 42 years with Wagner, 78. "You don't really need to get married, but marriage is awfully nice," she said. "Everybody I know who got married, they say it really makes a difference. They feel very very happy about it." In 1971, Tomlin, impressed by an after-school television special Wagner wrote, invited her to collaborate with her. Over the years, their partnership has included working together on movies and television specials. Tomlin said a formal wedding is not in the cards: "No rings, no bridal dresses. Maybe we'll be dressed like chickens."
Simon Cowell opens up about his impending fatherhood
British television personality Simon Cowell says he is proud he is going to be a first-time father. Cowell's girlfriend Lauren Silverman is pregnant with his child and in the midst of a messy divorce from Cowell's one-time close friend, Andrew Silverman. "I'm proud to be a dad," Cowell, 53, told the BBC, marking the first time he has publicly spoken about the pregnancy since the news broke last month. "Things are changing in my life for the better," Simon said."[Silverman] is a very special girl." Cowell admitted he had some reservations about being a dad at first, but "now I know I feel good about it." The baby's gender and anticipated due date have not been reported.

Kym Johnson is leaving 'Dancing with the Stars'
Australian professional ballroom dancer Kym Johnson says she is taking a break from "Dancing with the Stars." "I will be taking the next season off from 'DWTS' USA, so that I may accept an amazing work opportunity back home in Australia," Johnson told UsMagazine.com Tuesday. "I am excited, nervous and humbled by this chance and look forward to sharing more about it with you soon." Johnson, 37, did not disclose any other details about her latest endeavor. She has been on "DWTS" for 14 seasons, starting in 2006. "I wish all the dancers and celebrities in Season 17 nothing but love and success," Johnson said, "and hope to see you all back on the dance floor for Season 18." Season 17 is to begin airing next month.
Author Elmore Leonard dead at 87
Famed author Elmore Leonard has died at his Detroit home three weeks after suffering a stroke, his Facebook page said. "The post I dreaded to write, and you dreaded to read. Elmore passed away at 7:15 this morning from complications from his stroke. He was at home surrounded by his loving family," Leonard researcher Gregg Sutter wrote on the author's website Tuesday. Leonard's works have been adapted as the films "Out of Sight," "Be Cool," "Hombre," "Mr. Majestyk," "Get Shorty" and "3:10 to Yuma," as well as the TV series "Justified."
