Liam Neeson's Hangover 2 Cameo Gets Cut...

The replacement has been replaced.

Liam Neeson, who stepped in to film a cameo in The Hangover 2
for a role first given to, and then taken away from, Mel
Gibson, has now been replaced due to scheduling conflicts.

The scene filmed by Liam, 58, was cut out of the movie and is
now being re-shot with actor/director Nick Cassavetes playing
the role, but it's not personal, director Todd Phillips says.

Todd says that he cut the scene immediately following Liam's
cameo while editing The Hangover 2, creating a gap in the
sequence of events. Todd decided to re-shoot the scene, but
Liam was already busy in London shooting the follow-up to
Clash of the Titans.

"We were in a complete time crunch, so I called Nick
Cassavetes and asked if he would do the part," Todd says. "He
came in and crushed it, and that is the scene that you will
ultimately see in the film."

With Nick, 51, now teaming up onscreen with the Wolf Pack
(Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms) in the role
of a Bangkok tattoo artist in the Thailand-set sequel, which
arrives in theaters May 26, Todd says he's excited for fans
to see the film.

"It turned out great," he says

Mark Ballas and Pia Toscano: Romance Alert...

Talk about a talented pairing.

It looks like a romance is starting between American Idol's
Pia Toscano and Dancing with the Stars pro Mark Ballas.

Pia, who was unexpectedly eliminated from the singing
competition Thursday, was spotted out with Mark on what a
source describes as a first date in Los Angeles on Friday.

The couple met up at the Gulfstream restaurant in Century
City.

A source says that Pia, 22, "had a crush" on Mark and was
"giddy" when she discovered that Idol and Dancing film on
adjacent soundstages at the CBS lot in L.A. Then, as fate
would have it, their trailers were near each other.

Fellow DWTS contestant Chris Jericho helped facilitate the
hook-up, and a source says Pia and Mark had "a great first
date" and plan to go out again.

If it works out, could a collaboration be in the pair's
future? Pia has already proven she has amazing singing chops,
and Mark is a singer and musician, as well as a dancer.

*-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

This veteran actress has taken aim at "ungrateful" stars
including Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen as she's convinced
they "don't appreciate" their fame...

It's Betty White...

The "Golden Girls" star, 89, insists she has worked hard to
carve out a long-running career in show business and she is
horrified to see other performers who "party too much" and
take their success for granted.

And Betty has harsh words for celebrities who don't share her
work ethic.

She comments, "They party too much, don't learn their lines,
are unprofessional and they grumble about everything. I think
they are terribly ungrateful. I cannot stand the people who
get wonderful starts in show business, and who abuse it.
Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there
are plenty of others, too. They are the most blessed people
in the world and they don't appreciate it...

"Respect your profession. There is an enormous population out
there, who would sell their souls to do what you do. It's an
amazing life, so make sure you appreciate every minute of it."
