Leonardo DiCaprio Details Multiple Near-Death Experiences...
Much like his character Hugh Glass in the upcoming survival drama The Revenant, star Leonardo DiCaprio has had his fair share of near-death experiences.

In the latest issue of Wired magazine out Dec. 22, the actor discussed the difficulties in shooting his latest film and how escaping death in the past helped him prepare for the grueling shoot.

"Every single day of this movie was difficult. It was the most difficult film I've ever done," DiCaprio said. "You'll see, when you see the film. The endurance that we all had to have is very much up on the screen."

DiCaprio shared that he had been through much worse."I always seem to be very close to being part of a disaster," he explained. "If a cat has nine lives, I think I've used a few."

One harrowing experience the 41-year-old recalled involved almost getting attacked by a great white shark. "A great white jumped into my cage when I was diving in South Africa. Half its body was in the cage, and it was snapping at me," he revealed before mentioned how he thought he was going to die in a plane crash.

"A [plane] engine blew up in front of my eyes," DiCaprio said of a flight to Russia. "I was sitting there looking out at the wing, and the entire wing exploded in a fireball. I was the only one looking out at the moment this giant turbine exploded like a comet. It was crazy." Luckily the pilot was still able to make an emergency landing.

Lastly DiCaprio shared a scary moment in the air during a skydiving incident."It was a tandem dive. We pulled the first chute. That was knotted up... He pulled the second, and that was knotted up too. He just kept shaking it and shaking it in midair, as all my friends were, you know, what felt like half a mile above me, and I'm plummeting toward earth. [Laughs.] And he finally unravels it in midair."

LOOSE LIPS:
"My dad took off most of his vacation time for the year to act in Master of None. So I'm really relieved this all worked out. Tonight after we did Colbert together he said, 'This is all fun and I liked acting in the show, but I really just did it so I could spend more time with you.' I almost instantly collapsed into tears at the thought of how much this person cares about me and took care of me and gave me everything to give me the amazing life I have." - Aziz Ansari gushing about his parents

Josh Groban To Make His Broadway Debut in September...
Grammy Award-winning recording artist Josh Groban is to make his Broadway debut next September in Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812.

The show is a musical adaptation of a 70-page excerpt from Leo Tolstoy's classic novel War and Peace. The production will play an engagement at the American Repertory Theater without Groban before moving to the Great White Way.

"For a first time doing it, I wanted it to be something that was a little less expected, and I wanted it to be a show and a character that forced me to get a little bit out of my comfort zone and do something that people haven't seen before," Groban told The New York Times.

"To have the opportunity and freedom to take off the hat of 'me,' and to dive into a character, is something I think will be very freeing, and very fun."

Jennifer Lawrence on Golden Globes Nom: 'Vote for Amy Schumer'...
Jennifer Lawrence says she'd would gladly pass-up her third Golden Globe to let Amy Schumer take it home.

The Joy actress revealed to Z100 Monday she doesn't "want" the award and would much rather see comedian Schumer win Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy film for her work on Trainwreck. The two are nominated in the same category.

"I would love to see her sweet [expletive] up on that stage," she said.

When nominations were announced last week, Lawrence, 25, admitted to eTalk she didn't realize she was in the running against friend Schumer, 34. "That was so amazing because obviously I only pay attention to myself, so I was like 'oh I got nominated,' and then when she texted and said something about the same category I was like -- are you, what, lie -- huh?"

In August, Lawrence announced she and Schumer were working on a new screenplay together for which they plan to be the stars. "We play sisters," she told the press at the time.

Now, the Mockingjay: Part 2 actress says a win for Schumer would make their upcoming movie even more irresistible. "So obviously I'm pulling for her," she said. "Selfishly, it would be good for our movie if she won, so vote for Amy."

The duo reportedly plan to wear the same dress to the Golden Globes Awards ceremony in January, as well. "We're going to try to figure out to wear the exact same thing" she said over the weekend. "She's going to have to wear Dior," adding the label will just have to make "two of whatever they're making for me."

??? Guess Who ???

The actor and former rapper who says Donald Trump may force him to run for president?

It's Will Smith... He's willing to enter the presidential race if it meant preventing Donald Trump from winning.

Appearing on CBS Sunday Morning, Smith spoke about the controversy surrounding Trump's recent remarks about preventing Muslims from entering the country and his thoughts on the Mexican border.

"If people . . . keep saying all the crazy kind of stuff they've been saying on the news, lately, about walls and Muslims," the actor said to anchor Tracy Smith, "they're going to force me into the political arena."

When asked what position he would run for, Smith made it clear he only had one in mind. "I mean, I gotta be the president. Come on! What else would I run for?"

He explained that he has never put any limit on his career and what he can accomplish. "I realized that there was no way that I was put here just to be a movie star... The best things that have ever happened, ever, were unrealistic before they happened. So for me, I think being the biggest movie star in the world as a goal actually was too small!"

This isn't the first time the Concussion star has mentioned running for office. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Smith spoke again about leaving Hollywood behind and entering into the world of politics.

"I'm a climber, so if I see a mountain, I have to climb it. I'm not a camper; I don't like hanging in one place too long. So I think, at this point, I'm elevating my ability to be useful in the world," Smith explained. "And, you know, as I look at the political landscape, I think that there might be a future out there for me. They might need me out there. This is the first year that I've been incensed to a level that I can't sleep, you know? So I'm feeling that at some point, in the near future, I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way."
