Here's the Scoop...

With Anisa in Sin City, she has me, Steve (of the Daily Groaner), bringing you all of the Hollywood hullabaloo! I hope you enjoy!

What year is it? After checking out today's issue you'll probably be asking yourself the same question. No, really!

With stories about 'Full House,' 'Beverly Hills 90210,' and the bassist from Whitesnake, you might want to put on your acid wash jean jacket and sip on some Ecto-Cooler.

Thank you 'Game of Thrones' news for setting things straight. That was a bit too weird for me.

Be Well,
Steve

HBO exec says Jon Snow is dead
The Season Five finale of Game of Thrones left many fans with a burning question: "Is Jon Snow really...dead?"

An executive for HBO has conformed that it's true.

The character from the wildly popular HBO series supposedly died in the season's final episode since he was abandoned by his comrades to bleed out in the snow.

But rumors have stirred since the finale, especially more recently, since photos surfaced of Kit Harington, the actor that plays the contentious Night Watch leader, in Belfast near the season six filming location.

However, though the evidence is enough to raise speculation, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo made it clear on Thursday that "dead is dead."

"Dead is dead is dead," Lombardo said at the Television Critics Association's press tour. "He be dead. Um, yes. Everything I've seen, heard and read, Jon Snow is indeed dead."

That's not the only news he delivered regarding the hit series based off the books written by George R.R. Martin.

Lombardo also mentioned that the season will be continuing beyond not only season six but seven also.

In fact, he said that going beyond season seven was never even a question.

"The question is: How much beyond seven are we going to do," Lombardo said. "Obviously we're shooting six now, hopefully discussing seven. [Showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] feel like there's two more years after six. I would always love for them to change their minds, but that's what we're looking at right now."

"I would be open to anything that Dan and David wanted to do-about Game of Thrones, or any subject matter," he continued. "It really would depend fully on what they wanted to do. I think you're right, there's enormous storytelling to be mined in a prequel, if George and Dan and David decide they want to tackle that. At this point, all the focus is on the next few years of the show. We haven't had any conversations about that at this point."

Author George Martin has yet to set a release date for the sixth book, entitled "The Winds of Winter" from the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

The television cult drama, which garnered about 20 million viewers this year (up one million from the prior season), is continuing to grow Lombardo said.

He even announced that Season five home video will be available in August, a release that arrived much earlier than in years past.

Lori Loughlin celebrates birthday with 'Full House' co-stars
Lori Loughlin celebrated her birthday with her Full House co-stars on the Fuller House set Tuesday.

The actress, who turned 51 on July 28, started shooting the revival series earlier this week. Loughlin received 51 roses from John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, along with a card signed by Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

"51 flowers for our favorite fun girl. #HappyBirthdayBecky," Stamos captioned a photo of himself with Loughlin, Saget and Coulier. "Happy birthday to @loriloughlin - love you so much! #happybirthdaybecky #cuititout," Coulier added.

Loughlin portrayed Aunt Becky on the original ABC sitcom, with Stamos as Uncle Jesse, Saget as Danny Tanner and Coulier as Uncle Joey. Fuller House will focus on a grown-up and widowed D.J. Tanner (Bure) as she struggles to raise two kids while pregnant with her third.

Stamos posted the first photo from set Sunday, and joked about his DUI while filming later in the week. Fuller House will premiere a 13-episode first season on Netflix in 2016, and it was recently reported Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may still join the series.

Drea de Matteo of 'The Sopranos' engaged to Michael Devin
Drea de Matteo and boyfriend Michael Devin got engaged onstage last week.

The 43-year-old actress received a surprise proposal from the Whitesnake bassist during the band's concert at the Trump Taj Mahal on Saturday. A video of the moment has since surfaced and made headlines Thursday.

"I fell in love with a very beautiful woman a few years ago, and I want to embarrass her as much as I can," Devin told the audience before inviting de Matteo onstage. "I've been in love with you since the day I met you and I will for the rest of my life, and I hope that you'll marry me."

Devin shared a photo with the actress Wednesday, writing, "Big Huge Thank You for all the Birthday wishes... And for all the blessings on my engagement to this kitty cat ... Much appreciated!"

De Matteo has two children, seven-year-old daughter Alabama and four-year-old Waylon, by ex-fiancé Shooter Jennings. The actress is known for portraying Adrianna La Cerva on The Sopranos, and went on to play Wendy Case on Sons of Anarchy and Angie Bolen on Desperate Housewives.

'Xena: Warrior Princess' Lucy Lawless, Renee O'Connor reunite
Xena: Warrior Princess co-stars Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor reunited this week.

The 47-year-old actress and her 44-year-old former castmate delighted fans by sharing a selfie together Wednesday on Instagram. "Still hanging with my gal #Reneeoconnor @reallucylawless #xena #gabrielle," Lawless captioned the photo.

Lawless and O'Connor portrayed Xena and Gabrielle, respectively, on the Hercules: The Legendary Journeys spinoff. The series had a six-season run in syndication from 1995 to 2001, and has since achieved cult status.

NBC is being linked to a possible Xena: Warrior Princess reboot for 2016. Lawless voiced her support for the project at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month, telling HitFix production companies are "fools not to bring [the show] back."

Lawless went on to play D'Anna on Battlestar Galactica and Lucretia on Spartacus: Blood and Sand, and recently guest starred as Isabelle Hartley on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. O'Connor has since appeared on Criminal Minds and web series Ark.

Which former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star isn't looking forward to Lifetime's upcoming 90210 tell-all movie?

It's Luke Perry. In fact, the show, in which he played bad-boy Dylan McKay, is as irrelevant to him as "third grade."

At the Television Critics Association's summer press tour this week, the 48-year-old actor dismissed questions about the '90s hit show that made him and other actors like Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Shannen Doherty, Ian Ziering, and Jason Priestley famous.

"I don't think about it," Perry said when a reporter asked him about his thoughts on Lifetime's tell-all, scheduled to air Oct. 3.

When another reporter asked why the unauthorized film doesn't matter to him, Perry replied, "Third grade -- how much does that matter to you? Exactly. It's just not relevant to anything I'm doing. Next question?"

The actor was reportedly present at the TCA press conference to back the Up TV movie Welcome Home and new series Ties That Bind.
