Amy Schumer buys back her father's farm
Amy Schumer posted a throwback video on Instagram Monday announcing that she bought back her father's farm. The caption said, "Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me. We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him."

She also posted a picture from a Facetime video with her father, Gordon Schumer, with the caption, "Today I bought my father's farm back."

Schumer spoke about her father to Mo Rocca in an interview for CBS Sunday Morning With Charles Osgood, in July 2015.

The actress/comedienne was born in Manhattan to a wealthy family. Her father was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when she was 12 and the family went bankrupt and moved to Long Island. Soon after, her parents divorced.

"I think it was the divorce and my dad getting sick that were the wonderful gifts that made me the strong angel you see here today," the comedian joked.

'Law & Order: SVU's' Christopher Meloni, Mariska Hargitay reunite in holiday selfie
Former Law & Order: SVU costars Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay reunited Tuesday for a special selfie.

"Friends at Xmas," Meloni captioned the photo posted onto Instagram that features the actor holding his former crimefighting partner close as they both smile.

Hargitay reposted the same image with a collection of hashtags including "#ChrisMas #ChrisKringle #AVeryBenslerChristmas #TheChrisWhoStoleChristmas #HomeMeloni #HolidayClassics #BenslerTogether."

The photo marks the second time the pair have come together again for a reunion selfie following a similar get together in March.

Meloni and Hargitay starred as Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson for 12 seasons of SVU before Meloni left the series over a contract dispute in 2011.

In March, Meloni denied rumors that he would be returning to the NBC police procedural stating "I have no idea where that came from or what that's about."

Hargitay continues to star on the show which is currently airing its 18th season.

Which actor is joining Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus' sequel 'Alien: Convenant'?

James Franco is boarding director Ridley Scott's upcoming Prometheus sequel, Alien: Covenant.

Confirmed by Variety, the casting comes as rumors swirled that the actor would be joining the sci-fi thriller alongside Michael Fassbender, Noomi Repace and Guy Pearce reprising their roles from Prometheus with newcomers Katherine Waterston, Demian Bichir, Billy Crudup, and Danny McBride.

On Monday, Franco was coy and laughed when he was asked about starring in the film during an interview with Hey U Guys while promoting his latest comedy, Why Him?.

"The news is out I guess," the 38-year-old said when confronted about Alien: Covenant.

According to fan site AVPGalaxy, Franco will be having a small role as Branson, the captain of the Covenant ship which comes across a strange new planet inhabited solely by Fassbender's character, the synthetic David.

Alien: Covenant is set to arrive in theaters Aug. 4, 2017 and will be a "hard R" according to Scott.
