Put 2-3 drops Lavender oil on a minor burn to decrease pain.
I recently did this after I spilled scorching hot tea on my
hand and luckily had my lavender with me. After placing my
hand under cold water for a few minutes I added a few drops of lavender to the burned area. Result: NO redness, swelling or pain. NO sign of any burn.
Chapped lips in the winter - lavender oil to the rescue
Take a teaspoon of coconut oil (this should be a staple
in every household...seriously, this stuff is great) and
add 1 or 2 drops of lavender oil. Use this mixture 3 times
a day and your lips will graciously thank you.
Excellent for aching muscles, relaxation, stress
Add 6-8 drops Lavender essential oil after running the water. Or add the drops to a capful of milk or Epsom salts and then put in the bath as this helps to disperse the oils through out the water. This is a great way to receive the benefits of Lavender oil. Lie back and enjoy!
