Christmas has come early for "Desperate Housewives" star
Teri Hatcher... She has reportedly landed her own TV comedy.
Teri was recently given the green light for a new pilot
series scheduled to broadcast next fall.
The show, said to be developed as the "Untitled Teri Hatcher
Pilot," will be produced by "Housewives" creator Marc Cherry.
A source says, "Teri's absolutely thrilled. She got the good
news on the final day of shooting Housewives before the
holiday hiatus.
"It's going to be a dark comedy in the Housewives tradition."

It's a Boy for Ali Larter...
It's a bouncing baby boy.
Ali Larter and her writer-actor husband Hayes MacArthur
welcomed their first child earlier this week.
Their son, reportedly named Theodore Hayes, arrived early
Monday morning, Dec. 20.
Ali, 34, let slip she was having a boy midway through her
pregnancy.
She also made sure to have some fun while she was expecting,
reveling in desserts such as strawberry shortcake and saying
last summer that she was "bring[ing] on the Sprinkles
cupcakes, pizza, pasta. I'm loving it!"
She celebrated the baby with friends including Amy Smart,
Busy Philipps and Nicole Sullivan at a shower in October.
Ali said during her pregnancy that impending motherhood put
things in a whole new light.
"To feel this life growing inside of me grounds me every day
and really puts things into perspective about what's
important in life," she said. "It really is your health and
your family."

Baby on the Way for David Schwimmer...
David Schwimmer wants everybody to know: he's going to be
a dad!
David and wife Zoe Buckman, who secretly wed in June, will
be first-time parents,his rep confirms, who adds that the
two "couldn't be more thrilled."
Zoe, a photographer, and David, 44, met in London in 2007,
and announced their engagement in March 2010.
In a recent interview about his desire to start a family,
the former Friends star said he was eager to be adad, in
due time.
"I think it's gonna have to wait until I settle down and
have a family," he said at the time. "It will happen when
it feels right. Maybe part of me is waiting for myself to
slow down a little and be ready to stay put. I'm confident
it's gonna happen."

Intruders Break into 50 Cent's Home ? and Drink His Wine...
Hopefully, the wine was good.
Two men were arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly
breaking into 50 Cent's 52-room Connecticut mansion, one
of whom was found in a closet drinking a bottle of wine he
had taken from the home, the Hartford Courant reports.
Alexander Hernandez, 19, and Santos Padilla, 21, were
apprehended after security guards called police about a
suspicious car in the driveway. Police said the pair had
scaled a fence and entered through an unlocked door.
Both suspects were charged with third-degree burglary,
second-degree criminal trespass and possession of marijuana
and are being held on $50,000 bail each.
The rapper has been trying to sell the Farmington, Conn.,
residence, which used to belong to Mike Tyson, for three
years. It currently on the market for $10 million.

Lohan Snuck Out of Rehab for Alcohol, Worker Says...
Lindsay Lohan's troubles at the Betty Ford Center are
mounting. And she's not the only one there with problems.
An employee of the clinic went public Tuesday with claims
Lindsay "out of control" and had alcohol on her breath
during a tussle between them on Dec. 12.
Dawn Holland, a chemical technician at the desert rehab
facility, gave her account in a video interview, which
included a copy of her report on the incident.
Within minutes of the story posting, Dawn was fired.
"Regrettably," the Betty Ford Center said in a statement,
"one of our employees violated strict confidentiality
guidelines and laws by publically identifying patients in
a media interview and by disclosing a privileged document."
The center didn't comment on Dawn's allegations or a police
investigation in which Lindsay has been named a suspect for
alleged misdemeanor battery.
According to Dawn, Lindsay and two other patients had "snuck
out" and "went drinking," but were caught by another
technician when they were "trying to jump over the back wall"
to the clinic house in which they were living.
Lindsay, who has just weeks left of her court-ordered stay
at Betty Ford, is still under probation in a DUI case. A
violation, including breaking the law, could send her back
to jail.

Bus Fire Snuffs Out Kings of Leon Show in London...
First, their sex was on fire. Then their tour buses were.
Kings of Leon had to postpone a sold-out show in London on
Tuesday after a blaze on one of their buses spread to
another until both were burned out.
It's the latest bizarre mishap to befall the Tennessee band,
whose biggest hit is called "Sex on Fire." In July, they
had to shut down a show in St. Louis because of flying
pigeon poop.
While that incident posed dangers, their managers claimed
the droppings falling on the band as they played were a
"health hazard" This time it was more serious, with six
people treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance crews.
About 60 firefighters attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade said the smoke
posed the biggest problem.
"Our crews did a fantastic job, especially given the levels
of smoke down here which has led to quite challenging
conditions," Sally Cartwright said. "The O2's sprinkler
system successfully activated and this also helped
firefighters bring the blaze swiftly under control."

It's Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt...
A spokesperson for Von Anhalt says he mistakenly grabbed his
wife's nail glue and squeezed it into his eye on Tuesday
morning, sealing it shut.
Gabor's partner was immediately taken to a nearby hospital,
where he was treated with painkillers and scheduled for
surgery.
He is expected to be released later on Tuesday.
It's not Von Anhalt's first freak injury...
He was hospitalized back in October after swallowing a bee.
