Greetings Laff Lovers,
I have a nice, quiet, relaxing Fourth of July weekend
planned. Just three screaming kids, one screaming wife,
and maybe one brother and his screaming wife and kids.
Other than that it will be me and my gas-starting charcoal
grill, a half dozen pounds of USDA Grade A Choice steaks,
a few chicken quarters, and about two dozen all-beef hot
dogs for the kiddies.
It will be a nice change from last year's bash where the
entire extended family got together like a swarm of locusts
and had a party the environmental impact of which has still
not been fully measured.
The highlight of that party was watching one brother nearly
blow up my other brother's car with a mis-aimed sky rocket.
And it is for that exact reason that I have forbid anything
larger than sparklers this year.
The kids may hate me now...but they'll get over it. I'll
fill you in on any exciting details tomorrow. Have a safe
