Kristen Wiig responds to criticism of female 'Ghostbusters'...
Kristen Wiig has responded to criticism of the forthcoming, female-led Ghostbusters movie.

The 42-year-old actress addressed the backlash in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times. Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon will star in the reboot, causing some fans to disparage the female-centric cast on social media.

"The fact there was so much controversy because we were women was surprising to me," the star said. "Some people said some really not nice things about the fact that there were women. It didn't make me mad, it just really bummed me out. We're really honoring those movies."

Ivan Reitman directed the original Ghostbusters (1984) and its sequel, Ghostbusters II (1989), with Paul Feig to helm the new sequel. Feig previously directed Wiig and McCarthy in Bridesmaids, and defended his female stars in a March interview with Variety.

"The Internet is really funny," he said. "The first wave when you make an announcement like [female Ghostbusters] is overwhelmingly positive ... Then comes the second wave and you're like, 'Oh my God. Some of the most vile, misogynistic [expletive] I've ever seen in my life."

"Almost constantly [critics on Twitter are] someone whose bio says 'Proud father of two!'" he added. "You're raising children and yet you're bashing me about putting women in my movie? ... All I know is my ladies are going to kick ass and I would not want to go into battle without them."

The Ghostbusters reboot opens in theaters July 15, 2016. Original stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Annie Potts will all make cameos, and Chris Hemsworth, Neil Casey and Andy Garcia also have roles.

Bradley Cooper Will 'never' Sleep With Jennifer Lawrence...
Bradley Cooper recently vowed to never sleep with frequent co-star Jennifer Lawrence.

The 40-year-old actor discussed his dynamic with the 25-year-old actress in an interview Wednesday on The Howard Stern Show. Cooper told Stern his relationship with Lawrence will remain platonic, despite their chemistry and many film collaborations.

"It's really due to [director] David O. Russell," he explained of his connection with the actress. "We did Silver Linings Playbook together. We got along great."

"[We'll] never [have sex] ... It just didn't happen," he said of a potential romance. "It's not the way we are together."

Cooper and Lawrence also co-starred in American Hustle and Serena, and will reunite in the forthcoming movie Joy. The film opens in theaters Dec. 25, and dramatizes the real-life story of Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop.

"I've sort of hit the jackpot [in] being able to work with Jennifer Lawrence," the actor told Vanity Fair last year. "Her probably biggest asset is her level of relaxation when she acts. It's a very thrilling thing to be a part of, as a partner in the scene [who] takes you into the scene."

Cooper will next appear in Burnt with Sienna Miller, and is also slated to reprise Rocket for Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Lawrence will star in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 in November, and is scheduled for X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016.


Kelly Clarkson Reveals Sex of Baby No. 2...
Back in August singer Kelly Clarkson, 33, announced she and husband Brandon Blackstock, 38, were expecting their second child.

The "Stronger" singer made the unexpected announcement on stage during an L.A. concert in Piece by Piece tour.

"I was not planning on announcing this, but ... I'm totally pregnant," she said at the time, while crying onstage. "That was not planned. I just didn't want you to think I was crazy. Honestly, I'm just hormonal today. Nothing's wrong. I'm OK. I haven't vomited yet!"

But now the American Idol alum took to Instagram to reveal the sex of her baby-on-the-way.

Clarkson posted an adorable photo of her first child River Rose, 16 months, saying: "In other news, River's gonna have a little baby brother :) #itsaboy We're so excited!"

Previously Kelly told People magazine how she wanted to expand her family.

"I want another one ... But I'm just a little frightened because [River is] so perfect," she said. "I feel like something horrible's gonna come out of me. Because she's so great - like, the yin to her yang ... But I won't put that out there. I'm gonna project happiness."

It seems that Clarkson certainly put her fears aside. The singer is still making waves in music, collaborating with X Factor winner Ben Haenow for his new single "Second Hand Heart." The music video for the song dropped earlier this week.

Rose Byrne Pregnant With First Child
Actress Rose Byrne is pregnant with her first child with longtime boyfriend, Broadway star Bobby Cannavale.

According to reports, the 36-year-old Neighbors actress showed off her baby bump most recently behind a loose-fitting dress at the LAX airport Thursday. Neither Byrne nor Cannavale have come forward to confirm the news.

Byrne and the 45-year-old Boardwalk Empire actor started dating in 2012. Cannavale expressed his affection toward Byrne in his acceptance speech at the 2013 Emmy's, referring to her as the "love of my life."

The former British pop star who was kicked off a plane after a skirmish?

It's Samantha Fox... Samantha was reportedly kicked off a plane after she was allegedly involved in a drunken brawl at an airport.

The star was removed by security guards after she was accused of being intoxicated by staff at Luton Airport in the U.K., editors at the Sun on Sunday report.Fox, 49, was waiting to board the Wizz Air flight to Lithuania on Friday when she allegedly began arguing with staff after being charged $48 to take her bag onboard.

"A passenger was offloaded due to abusive behaviour towards staff," says a spokesperson for the airline. "The passenger seemed to be intoxicated. The effect can be worse in the air."

The singer was due to perform at the Siemens Arena in Vilnius, Lithuania on Saturday. She later told fans via Twitter.com that the concert went well, writing, "Amazing sold out show last night. Thank you Lithuania. Lovely people. Love Sam xx".
