Sarah Silverman says she'll 'never get married'

Comedian Sarah Silverman went on a Twitter rant over the weekend after finding out several news outlets reported she wanted to get engaged to her boyfriend Michael Sheen. "Just read that I wanna get married which is hilarious b/c I will never get married," Silverman tweeted Sunday. The 43-year-old Emmy-winner later added a bit more context to her reasons for not wanting to wed. "Why would I want the govt involved in my love life?" she wrote. "Ew. It's barbaric." Silverman went on to say that while rumors usually don't bother her this one in particular made her feel "bigoted." The actress' tweets seem to be in response to a recent Star magazine article titled: "Sarah wants a ring." Silverman has been dating the Master of Sex actor since February of this year.

Kate Hudson claims she and mother Goldie Hawn can see ghosts

Kate Hudson says she and mother Goldie Hawn can see ghosts. The 35-year-old actress claimed as much during an appearance on British comedian Alan Carr's Chatty Man show. Hudson declared she and Hawn "can see dead people," but later clarified the experience is more of a feeling than actually seeing something.
"It is not really seeing, it is feeling a spirit," the actress related. "A fifth energy. I believe in energy. I believe our brains can manifest into visual things." Hudson recalled an incident where she saw a spirit with no face, and admitted, "That was really creepy." "When you see something, you're are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don't belong there," she advised. Hudson appeared on the program to promote her new movie with Zach Braff, Wish I Was Here, which opened in theaters in July. The actress will appear in Born to Be King and Rock the Kasbah later this year.

Kanye West teaches class at LATTC as part of community service

Kanye West made a surprise appearance at LA Trade Technical College on Friday. The 37-year-old rapper reportedly spent about two hours discussing his life experiences with a group of around 40 students from the digital communications department as well as troubled youth. West's drop-in at the school is part of the rapper's community service requirement stemming from an incident he had with a paparazzi in July of last year. During his visit, West spoke to the students about his struggles in the music, design and fashion industry as well as his inspirations. "I've listened to Kanye since I was younger, but I can't rate him as a teacher because he didn't come to teach a fashion class," a student told Vice. "He just spoke about his inspirations. He didn't try to be a teacher, he simply spoke about how life really is." Although West was sentenced to 240 hours of community service, 24 sessions of anger management and two years of probation in his battery case against a photographer he hit at LAX, this is the fourth time on record that he visited LATTC to talk to students.
