Three days after the nation watched the televised image of a
silver flying saucer-shaped balloon traveling across the
Colorado sky, it turns out the saga of the balloon boy may
have been all hot air.
The Larimer County sheriff has officially declared the Balloon
Boy incident a hoax!
In a press conference held Sunday morning, Sheriff Jim Alderden
said the publicity stunt was a "planned event for two weeks,"
and if found guilty, the Heenes could serve up to six years
in prison!

Stephanie Pratt Arrested for DUI...
The Hills star Stephanie Pratt was arrested on suspicion of
drunkdriving in Hollywood early Sunday morning.
"It was your basic DUI. Our traffic officers driving down
the street spotted her and pulled her over," Sgt. Sal Ogaz
said. "She was cooperative and there were no issues with
her arrest."
Police records show Stephanie, was arrested at 3:45 a.m.,
charged with a misdemeanor, and was transferred to the Van
Nuys jail for booking, where she was released around 10:30a.m.
Earlier in the evening, Stephanie was at Holly Montag's
birthday party at Empire, an L.A. nightclub. At 11 p.m. she
Tweeted: "its my sissy @hollymontags bday party! just finished
dinner and going to Empire but im pretty tired aka yes i am
the party pooper :("
Stephanie, the younger sister of Spencer, said last month that
she'd like to leave the show after 10 episodes. ?I don?t know
how muchmore I can take of The Hills ? The Hills is very
brutal," she said.

Kourtney Kardashian's Home Burglarized...
Kourtney Kardashian is the latest Hollywood starlet to fall
victim to a home burglary.
Approximately $108,000 in jewelry was stolen Saturday from
Kourtney's Calabasas, Calif. home, Los Angeles County
Sheriff Sgt. Kristy Criner says.
"That's what was discovered missing in the initial
investigation," Sgt. Criner says. "Sheriff's investigators and
our crime lab are responding on the scene."
A rep for Kourtney wasn't immediately available for comment.
Kaourtney, is expecting her first child with boyfriend
Scott Disick around Christmas.
A rash of home burglaries have plagued young female stars in
the last year: Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Hayden
Panettiere, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson's homes have all
been broken into within the last 10 months.
Last month, Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested under suspicion
of committing the break-ins at Audrina and Lindsay's homes.

Housewives' Bethenny Frankel Is Engaged...
Bethenny Frankel can officially change her status from single
girl to engaged girl.
Although it was reported that The Real Housewives of New York
City star and boyfriend Jason Hoppy got engaged over the summer,
Bethenny confirms that she accepted Hoppy's proposal on Oct. 8th
after an 11-month courtship.
"It feels great, because I'm with the right person," says
Bethenny. "He may be regretting it because it's been beyond
a week and he's in panic mode, but no, we're enjoying it."
Jason added, "She is very much a handful but one thing she did

TLC Sues Jon Gosselin for Breach of Contract...
To the surprise of very few, TLC filed a breach-of-contract
lawsuit against Jon Gosselin on Friday morning, accusing the
Jon and Kate Plus 8 star of violating his contract by making
paid and unpaid TV appearances without the cable network's
permission.
"The network has been trying privately and patiently for months
to get Jon to honor the contract he signed and to comply with
his obligations relating to public appearances and statements,"
reads a statement released by the network. "Those efforts have
been unsuccessful."
Mark Heller, Jon's attorney, said Friday morning that he had
yet to see the TLC legal documents, and later released a
statement after "reading the alleged complaint on the Internet."
"Jon will vigorously defend against this baseless action,
assuming Discovery and TLC choose to go forward with their claim
by legally serving him with notice, and we are confident that
through the course of litigation it will clearly be evident that
Discovery and TLC exploited, manipulated and abused the Gosselins?
vulnerability and financial hardship," Heller's statement read.
