- Prince William's pregnant wife Kate has left Kensington Palace and the heat of London for her parents' country home in Bucklebury, UsMagazine.com said. Kate is
due to give birth to her first child this month. "It was just too warm in Nott Cott," an insider told UsMagazine.com, referring to the couple's Nottingham Cottage residence, which has no air conditioning. "She decided to spend the weekend with mum and dad. Much more comfortable."
England's highest 2013 temperature of 89.4 was reached Saturday. The report did not say when the duchess plans to return home to London.

Kirstie Alley mad at Leah Remini for leaving Scientology
Kirstie Alley is angry with another U.S. actress, Leah Remini,for leaving the Church of Scientology, The Huffington Post reported. Remini released a statement last week confirming she had left the church and thanking her friends for their support. Although she didn't disclose her reasons for her departure, the New York Post said she had been interrogated and intimidated by church officials after questioning their practices. Alley posted several Twitter messages, which appear to express her feelings about Remini's decision. "When faced w malicious gossip I take a moment to experience the loss of the person I thought was my friend... Then I say [expletive] ..:) #RISE" Alley tweeted July 10. She also tweeted, "the sweetest poison is often served with a smile...beware syrup." "Our sources tell us that Alley worked the phones that day, raising a stink with the personnel at the Hollywood Celebrity Centre -- what were church officials going to do about Remini's defection?" Scientology journalist and former Village Voice editor Tony Ortega said in a blog posting about the day news broke that Remini was leaving the church. "A meeting was called for Alley and other celebrities to get a briefing from church executives about what was going on and what they planned to do about it."
Lea Michele pleads for privacy after Cory Monteith's death
Lea Michele, Cory Monteith's longtime girlfriend, is asking for privacy in the days following the Canadian actor's death at 31. The "Glee" star, who had a history of substance abuse, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room Saturday. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday to determine what the cause of his death was. UsMagazine.com said Michele, 26, has declined to comment on the death of her boyfriend of a year. "We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time," her publicist said in a statement to UsMagazine.com. Michele and Monteith's "Glee" co-star spoke about Monteith at his New York nightclub show "Up Close and Personal with Matthew Morrison" Sunday. "Matt came out before the show started and said, 'We lost
a great young man too soon,'" a source told the magazine. "He said Cory was a beautiful person," the insider reported, adding Morrison told the crowd, "You came out to see a show, I came out to do one, so let's honor Cory with this performance." Morrison, 34, then dedicated "What I Did for Love" from the Broadway musical "A Chorus Line" to his fallen co-star. "He was very emotional on stage," the

Report: Kristen Stewart is dating Michael Pitt
U.S. actress Kristen Stewart, who recently broke up with her longtime beau Robert Pattinson, is now dating actor Michael Pitt, The Sun reported. The couple met this month at Paris Fashion Week and instantly connected, the newspaper said. "Kristen's not over Rob, but she's getting there and Michael's helping her through it," a source told The Sun. "She vowed to throw herself into work and be single this summer. But when she met Michael last week, they hit it off. They both hate the spotlight and are smart, bookworm types." Stewart and Pattinson, who co-starred in four "Twilight" vampire blockbusters, broke up in May after three years of dating. The two hit a rocky patch last July when Stewart
was caught in a cheating scandal with her married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders. Stewart
and Pattinson separated for two months, during which Stewart wrote an open-letter apology to the actor and professed her love for him publicly for the first time. They then reconciled before breaking up this past May. Pitt is best known for his work on TV's "Boardwalk Empire."
Kelly Osbourne confirms engagement to Matthew Mosshart
British television personality Kelly Osbourne has confirmed her engagement to vegan chef Matthew Mosshart -- months after her brother had announced the news. "I have never felt this close to another human being, ever. We're completely in love," the 28-year-old "Fashion Police" co-host told Hello! magazine. "People say we're co-dependent, but we just want to be together all the time." Osbourne's brother Jack told People.com in February she was engaged and intended to marry Mosshart, 29, in the summer of 2014, but she had not confirmed her betrothal until now. "We're thinking, 'Let's just have my mum plan it and we'll just show up.' She's the best at that kind of stuff," Kelly Osourne told Hello!, referring to her mother, Sharon, who is a co-host of "The Talk." Kelly and Jack Osbourne's father is rocker Ozzy Osbourne.

Author and TV personality Jenny McCarthy has confirmed she will be a co-host on "The View" when the New York chat show starts its 17th season in September. Current panelists Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck have both announced they are leaving at the end of this season, while Barbara Walters has said she will retire next summer. Co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd are expected to return next season. "YUP, I'M DOING 'THE VIEW'!" McCarthy announced on her blog Monday. "When word got out that Joy was leaving 'The View,' I knew that the timing of my desire and her departure might be serendipitous for me." "Jenny brings us intelligence as well as warmth and humor," Walters said in a statement issued by ABC Monday morning. "She can be serious and outrageous. She has connected with our audience and offers a fresh point of view. Jenny will be a great addition to the show as we usher in an exciting new chapter for 'The View.'" McCarthy has previously served as a guest co-host, as well as an interview subject on "The View."
