Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus and his wife, Allison, are expecting
their first child together, the singer and bassist confirms.
"Allison and I are thrilled about becoming parents," Jay says in
a statement. "I am confident Ali will be a wonderful mother
because she has done an incredible job raising me over the past
six years."
Adds Allison, a former Miss Tennessee and CMT personality, "Jay
and I are thrilled to let everyone know we are going to be parents!
We can't wait and are ecstatic to share our news."
The baby is due in January of next year. The two wed on May 15,
2004 in Nashville.

Avatar Star Zoe Saldana Gets Engaged...
Zoe Saldana's year just got even better.
After walking the red carpet at the Oscars, where her film Avatar
was nominated for Best Picture, Zoe will now be walking down the
aisle. She and longtime boyfriend Keith Britton are engaged, her
rep confirms.
No other details about the engagement were available.
The Star Trek star has quietly been dating Britton, CEO of online
Web site My Fashion Data Base, but brought him as her date to an
Oscar afterparty in March.

Larry King Ending His Show After 25 Years...
After 25 years on the air, Larry King says it's time "to hang up
my nightly suspenders."
The talk-show host, 76, said Tuesday he'll end his run on Larry
King Live in the fall but will remain with CNN for occasional
specials, "giving me more time for my wife and I to get to the
kids' little league games."
"With this chapter closing I'm looking forward to the future and
what my next chapter will bring," says Larry.
A replacement for Larry's 9 p.m. ET slot will be made "in the
weeks ahead," according to CNN.
"Larry King defined the art of the television interview," CNN
says in a statement. "His candor, curiosity and compassion are
legendary, and his ability to interview people from all walks
of life ? world leaders, celebrities and everyday people ? has
made him an icon."
Larry is stepping down during what he's called a "difficult time"

in his marriage to Shawn Southwick King, 50.
They were involved in divorce proceedings but reconciled a week
later. Then in May, his wife, who has a history of painkiller
addiction, was found with empty pill bottles strewn on her bed
in a possible suicide attempt.

The Office Star Angela Kinsey Files for Divorce...
It's over for The Office actress Angela Kinsey and writer Warren
Lieberstein.
Citing irreconcilable differences, Angela filed for divorce
Thursday from her husband of 10 years in L.A. County Superior
Court.
Angela, who split with Warren in February 2009, requested joint
legal and physical custody of their 2-year-old daughter Isabel
Ruby, according to court documents.
At the time of their separation, Angela's rep said it was amicable
and that the two would "continue to be friends and spend time with
their daughter."

Bret Michaels Still Not 100 Percent...
He may have returned to the stage with a high-energy performance
but Bret Michaels is still suffering side effects from his April
21 brain hemorrhage and warning stroke.
"While Bret may be out on the road and performing, he is still
not 100 percent," Janna Elias, V.P. of Bret's Entertainment
said Tuesday. "He still has pain from the chemical meningitis,
short term memory loss and gets fatigued quicker than normal."
However, Bret hasn't put his health in jeopardy by hitting the
road. Instead, he "simply feels that music is a powerful healer,"

adds Elias.
Bret's doctor reiterated that rocker is lucky to be alive after
his entire ordeal. "Between 15 and 20 percent of patients die
as a result of the initial hemorrhage, and only approximately
50 percent of those that survive have a good outcome," says Dr.
Joseph Zabramski of the Barrow Neurological Institute.
"For anyone to speculate that this was not a life threatening
medical emergency is absolutely incorrect," adds Zabramski.
"Bret is truly one of the most determined individuals I have
ever met when it comes to an attempt at making a full recovery."

It's Kristen Stewart...
Kristen introduced the world to her odd companion during an
interview with talk show host David Letterman, showing off
pictures of her cuddling her furry friend.
She admits having a wolf-mix breed as a pet is an unusual
choice as the animals are often thought of as dangerous and
"scary," but she's convinced life wouldn't be the same without
her beloved pooch.
Kristen says, "This is my pet; this is Jack. He's our oldest
male. I know he looks kind of scary, he's a wolf. He's really
sweet, he, like, falls at my feet.
"They told us he was a wolf. I don't know what kind of wolf he
is. They are wolf-dogs; they are hybrids. It's my mom's deal.
Maybe it was a bit of empty nest syndrome, she wanted more
children, because they really are hard to take care of. She
likes them. Wolf hybrids are legal."
And She admits she gets upset when she hears of wolves being
culled in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, adding: "And
you know what, it's such an awful thing... it's awful!"
