Lee Thompson Young, former Disney Channel star, dead at 29

Actor Lee Thompson Young has died of what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Los Angeles apartment, TMZ said Monday. He was 29. Young is best known for his work on Disney Channel's "The Famous Jett Jackson" and now appears on TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles." TMZ said his body was discovered when he didn't show up to work Monday morning.


Justin Timberlake to reunite with *NSYNC at VMAs in NYC

Justin Timberlake is to reunite with his former *NSYNC band members for a special performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, the New York Post reported. The ceremony is to take place Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. MTV has already said Timberlake will perform at the VMAs and receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. The Post quoted sources as saying Timberlake's former bandmates J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick will also join him onstage for a reunion performance at some point during the show.

Demi Lovato to guest star on Season 5 of 'Glee'

Pop star and actress Demi Lovato is booked for a recurring role on the upcoming fifth season of "Glee," The Hollywood Reporter said Monday. Lovato will play Dani, a struggling artist who befriends Rachel, played by Lea Michele, and Santana, played by Naya Rivera. Lovato's six-episode stint is to begin in the second episode this season, the report said.


Kim Zolciak is pregnant with twins

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kim Zolciak told E! News Monday she is pregnant with twins. Zolciak, 35, announced in June she is pregnant with her fifth child. "I'm having twins and I couldn't be more excited. I was completely shocked. I had no idea. It was a natural conception but twins do run in the family, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised," she told E! News. "I can't believe I am going to be a mom to six children, it's going to be very busy but it's a dream come true."

The 18-year-old became the first US female swimmer to win six gold medals at the World Championships in Barcelona on Aug. 4, but she's already focused on starting her life as a student at the University of California, Berkeley. "Honestly just being home is enough of a celebration for me," the four-time Olympic gold medalist, who will go straight from hosting the US Open Arthur Ashe Kids' Day to move into her dorm room, told PEOPLE on Tuesday.
