Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy reunite on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'
Exes Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy reunited Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote their new ABC show, The Muppets.

The pair, who split back in August, spoke to the late night host about what caused the breakup and if there was any chance they might get back together.

"Well, Piggy and I had a great relationship for many, many years, and we sort of wanted different things," Kermit said.

Piggy chimed in saying, "It's the usual laundry list. You know, put the lid down, closing the refrigerator door, not doing the dishes while taking a bath in the sink!"

The ending of their relationship made headlines worldwide, a fact not lost on Miss Piggy.

"Anything that happens to me is going to be front page news," Piggy explained. "I'm sort of like the Donald Trump of love. Everything I do is huge!"

Kimmel then brought up Kermit's alleged new sultry pig girlfriend Denise.

"She looks to be young. She looks to be just a little piglet," Kimmel said while looking at a photo of Kermit's new lady. "Well, she's old enough, but not as old as she could be," Kermit responded as a jab toward Miss Piggy.

Miss Piggy has also started to move -- on Monday she revealed the top things she's looking for in a date, including "A-List:, photogenic, and having a lot of money and being sensitive to her needs.

To close out the interview, the comedian tried his best to get the former lovers to reconcile.

"Is there any chance you guys could kiss and make up right here on the show?," Kimmel asked. "Absolutely not," they both answered in unison.

Sean Penn sues 'Empire' co-creator Lee Daniels for defamation
Sean Penn has filed a defamation lawsuit against Empire co-creator Lee Daniels for alleging in an interview he abuses women.

The 55-year-old actor filed the $10 million defamation suit Tuesday in the New York Supreme Court because of an article published in The Hollywood Reporter in which Daniels relates Penn to Terrence Howard in terms of his maltreatment of women.

"[Howard] ain't done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he's some [expletive] demon," Daniels told the Reporter in an interview published Sept. 16. "That's a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America."

Penn's complaint states the lawsuit is a means of halting the behavior of others in terms of making him "the subject of scandalous, scurrilous, and baseless attacks" by making an example of the situation.

"Accordingly, and because of Daniels' defamatory statements, Penn brings this action for monetary relief, and to deter Daniels and others from their defamatory actions," the complaint says.

In the late 1980s, Penn was the subject of public discourse surrounding his alleged domestic abuse of then-wife Madonna; the couple divorced in 1989.

Although Penn has been subject of such rumblings, he states through federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart while "he has certainly had several brushes with the law, Penn [unlike Howard] has never been arrested, much less convicted, for domestic violence, as his ex-wives (including Madonna) would confirm and attest."

That's actress Sophia Loren!

The Italian star celebrated the launch of her very own lipstick for the luxury brand just one day after her 81st birthday. Loren turned 81 on Sunday, and looks as glamorous as ever in the new campaign.

The lipstick, dubbed Sophia Loren No. 1, is a semi-sheer shade that will retail for $37. Loren collaborated with Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana on the product, which is subtly scented with D&G's signature rose fragrance.

"Sophia Loren No. 1 is our way of saying, 'Thank you, Sophia!'" the designers said in a statement. "Thank you for her beauty, thank you for being a world favorite, thank you for being an icon of the big screen and of Italian beauty. She has been a constant source of inspiration for us, and today we celebrate her with the gift of her very own lipstick."

"You must always, from somewhere at the bottom of your heart, firmly believe that your beauty is unique, special, and like nobody else's," the actress instructed in a behind-the-scenes video. "Never forget this, and learn to cultivate this conviction."

Loren came to fame in Italy in the 1950s, and has starred in such films as It Started In Naples, Two Women and Marriage Italian Style. She last appeared in son Edoardo Ponti's short film, Human Voice, and released her first memoir, Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow: My Life, in November 2014.
