Help a hero, and keep our soldiers warm this coming winter.
How you ask?

If you have some wool (not polyester) gloves, hats, or
scarves, soldiers serving in Afghanistan during the harsh
winter can surely use them to stay toasty warm. Where
do you send them you ask?

Hint 1: Don't waste our beauty products...

Typically women don't use the last few drops of their lip gloss, shampoo,or styling gel when the tube is near empty. But why throw away two applications, when you can simply snip off the end of the bottle or tube and use a cotton swab to get the remaining product. You will be amazed at how much is still left.

Hint 2:

On your washer, tape a list of things that need to be washed only occasionally - like the shower curtain, the dog's bed, throw rugs and such. Then if you have less than a full load, check the list and add an item to the wash. That way, you'll remember to wash things that seldom make it to the hamper!
