Emmy Rossum talks new neighbor Justin Bieber
Emmy Rossum says she won't be asking new neighbor Justin Bieber for a cup of sugar anytime soon.

The 28-year-old actress discussed the 21-year-old singer in an interview with Sway in the Morning this week. Bieber is well-known for hosting often disruptive get-togethers, and Rossum told host Sway she is too old for the pop star's parties anyway.

"Justin Bieber just moved into the house next door to me," she revealed. "He's my new next door neighbor and I went over to offer him a neighborly hello and I'm not going to do that again. He has a ton of bodyguards there and they're really scary."

"He pulled up in his Bentley and then went inside," she recalled of her first glimpse of Bieber. "He was actually rapping as he got out of the car. He was like, 'Ball so hard mother[expletive]s wanna...' and I was like, yup, Justin Bieber is my neighbor, that's cool."

Bieber was accused of egging his then-neighbor's house in January 2014, and pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor vandalism. The singer received two years probation for the incident, and was voted worst celebrity neighbor by Zillow in December.

Rossum is known for such films as Mystic River, The Phantom of the Opera and Beautiful Creatures. The actress currently stars as Fiona Gallagher on Showtime series Shameless, which returned for a fifth season in January and airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.

Katy Perry and John Mayer split for a third time: Report
Singers Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly ended their relationship for a third time.

Radar Online broke the news about the split Wednesday, claiming the couple's swift reconciliation was mostly "about convenience."

"Katy and John reconnected once she had a break in her Prismatic World Tour. So, for those few months they had a great time, pretending that it would last -- and of course it didn't," said an insider.

Other sources maintain Mayer was jealous of Perry's blossoming career because he "does not have anything major going on with his" own at the moment.

Perry, 30, and Mayer, 37, sparked reconciliations rumors in January after they reunited at a friends's dinner party almost a year after they broke up for the second time.

Mr. T to host home renovation series 'I Pity the Tool'
Mr. T has landed a new home renovation series.

The 62-year-old actor will host I Pity the Tool on the DIY Network. The program will follow Mr. T and his team as they remodel outdated homes, and is scheduled to premiere later this year.

Several episodes are expected to feature projects for those in need. The pilot will reportedly see Mr. T help out an old associate, and future installments will focus on military veterans and families experiencing hard times.

"I am tough, but deep inside my toughness, I like to let people know I'm an old-fashioned mama's boy," the star said in an interview with Variety. "I have a heart of gold, but I'm really a marshmallow in my heart."

Mr. T is known for portraying Bosco "B.A." Baracus on NBC series The A-Team, and originated the signature phrase "I pity the fool!" as James "Clubber" Lang in Rocky III. Actor William Shatner and rapper Vanilla Ice also have home renovation shows with DIY Network.

Eastwood says he was asked to take lead role in 'Apocalypse Now'
One of the most successful actors and directors in cinema history, Clint Eastwood has had more than his fair share of big film roles. But a fact that may not be well known is that director Francis Ford Coppola wanted him for the lead role of the 1979 Vietnam epic, Apocalypse Now.

Winner of two Academy Awards and nominated for six others, including Best Picture, the film follows a special operations soldier who goes into the jungles of Vietnam to locate and assassinate a maverick colonel. The lead role of U.S. Army Capt. Benjamin Willard was portrayed by Martin Sheen and the colonel, Walter Kurtz, by Marlon Brando.

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter editor Stephen Galloway, acting veteran Clint Eastwood mentioned that he was approached to play Sheen's role by both Coppola and later fellow actor Steve McQueen.

"[Coppola] asked me if I wanted to play that [role] and I said, 'gee, I don't know. I don't understand this show too much,'" Eastwood recalled.

Although intrigued, and having read the source novel -- Joseph Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" -- Eastwood said he ultimately turned the role down because he didn't want to spend four months filming in the Philippines.

"I said, 'no I don't think I can go off for that long a time,'" Eastwood said. "I'd just gotten through building a house and everything, and I thought, 'no I don't want to go away that long.'"

But, Eastwood said, that wasn't the end of it. Another superstar of that era subsequently asked him about it.

"Steve McQueen called me and he says, 'why don't you come on and play this role?" the Dirty Harry star remembers, adding that he had heard McQueen was lined up to take the role. The Bullitt star, though, wanted the role that went to Brando.

Eastwood made the remarks during an interview, moderated by Galloway, in the Hollywood Masters series at Loyola Marymount University's Film School.

Apocalypse Now is considered by some as one of the greatest films ever made, and has spawned numerous spoofs, iconic scenes and dialogue. It was also noteworthy for the tremendous difficulty filmmakers encountered during production. Sheen suffered a heart attack during filming, production sets were destroyed by bad weather and the film was behind schedule.

In 2001, Coppola released an extended version of the film, titled Apocalypse Now Redux.

Eastwood, meanwhile, has made and starred in several war films of his own -- including Kelly's Heroes, Heartbreak Ridge, Flags of Our Fathers and last year's Oscar-nominated American Sniper.

??? Guess Who ???

Which 'Hitch' actress said that sweatpants are the 'number one' cause of divorce?

New mom Eva Mendes is not one to wear sweatpants.

While speaking about her new cosmetic line for Walgreens, CIRCA, with Extra, the 41-year-old actress revealed why she refuses to slip into the comfortable bottoms.

"No, no, you can't do sweatpants," Mendes said. "Ladies, number one cause of divorce in America is sweatpants. No, you can't do that."

The Place Beyond the Pines actress, who welcomed her first daughter with Ryan Gosling in September, defined her style as "feminine" before dishing on parenthood.

"I'm actually starting to sleep so I'm at a good place," she said. "Sleeping through the night, but every night is like, you never know. Something random can happen and it just suddenly is not sleeping through the night and you're just like, 'Wait, I thought we were sleeping through the night. What's up?' Why does it always happen at three or four in the morning?"

Mendes says that her new role has made her very appreciative of her own mother.

"My mother has never gotten more like 'I love you so much Mommy' texts," she revealed.

Mendes and Gosling have been dating on and off since 2011. The private couple was last seen together during a date night in January.
