Here's the Scoop...

Hello, Steve here! I'm helping Anisa out with this edition of Celebrity Nooz.

One of the stories in today's issue honestly surprised me. I just couldn't believe it. And I'll give you a hint, it wasn't the news that Hulk Hogan got fired by WWE.

Actually, I was surprised by the news that Kourtney Kardashian will reportedly seek full custody of her kids. Kourtney, are you serious? You're going to take the attention off of yourself long enough to make a case for your kids?

Oh, who am I kidding? She'll make this about her. Poor kids.

Be Well,
Steve

Kourtney Kardashian will reportedly seek full custody
Kourtney Kardashian will reportedly seek full custody of her three children by ex-partner Scott Disick.

The 36-year-old reality star is said to have met with top divorce attorney Laura Wasser following her split from Disick this month. The former couple are parents to five-year-old son Mason, three-year-old daughter Penelope and seven-month-old son Reign.

"Scott's friends don't think he'll challenge Kourtney [over custody]," an insider told Us Weekly magazine. "[Scott] doesn't act like a dad at all when he's partying," other sources added. "There's no turning back now and [Kourtney] is going full steam ahead with figuring out an agreement."

TMZ reports Kardashian's sisters, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, both used Wasser for their respective divorces. Disick was spotted with his elder son at Barnes & Noble bookstore and Rosti Tuscan Kitchen restaurant Wednesday.

Kardashian and Disick had been together since 2006, and broke up after Disick was seen with a number of women, including ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli, over Fourth of July weekend. The reality star's mom, Kris Jenner, subsequently said her daughter is doing well and "hanging in there."

Sofia Vergara, fiancé Joe Manganiello set wedding date
Sofia Vergara and fiancé Joe Manganiello have reportedly set their wedding date for November.

The 43-year-old actress and 38-year-old actor will marry November 22 in Palm Beach, Fla., sources told Us Weekly. The couple are said to have booked The Breakers Palm Beach resort, which sits oceanfront and can accommodate up to 800 guests.

"They want all their family and friends there celebrating," an insider told the magazine. "It'll be the most fun wedding ever! Sofia and Joe are really happy. They're such a natural couple that they already feel married."

Vergara and Manganiello have been together since summer 2014, and got engaged in December. The actress served as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding in June, and met with Four Seasons artistic director and noted floral arranger Jeff Leatham on Wednesday.

Vergara last appeared in Hot Pursuit with Reese Witherspoon, and plays Gloria Pritchett-Delgado on ABC sitcom Modern Family. Manganiello is best known for portraying Alcide Herveaux on HBO series True Blood, and recently starred in Magic Mike XXL with Channing Tatum.

Hulk Hogan fired by WWE over racial slurs
Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, was fired by World Wrestling Entertainment on Friday over his alleged use of racial slurs.

The 61-year-old wrestler's contract was terminated amid reports he used racial slurs to describe his daughter's beau in his 2012 sex tape. WWE reportedly learned of the remarks from a transcript of the video used in Hogan's ongoing lawsuit over the tape.

"WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan)," the company said in a statement. "WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."

Hogan's attorney told TMZ the wrestler wasn't fired, claiming he resigned Thursday. The WWE star cryptically tweeted, "In the storm I release control,God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be,onelove. HH," late that night.

Hogan's name has since been stripped from the WWE website, where he is no longer listed as a hall of fame member or alumnus. The scandal has caused many to point to the wrestler's use of racial slurs in a 2012 interview, prompting DJ Whoo Kid to defend the particular instance on Twitter.

nothing racist about that @HulkHogan 2012 interview I did. He was just explaining the usage of the Nword amongst his rapper friends and WWF- DJ Whoo Kid (@DJWhooKid) July 24, 2015

Hogan came to fame with the WWE, then the WWF, in the 1980s, and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005. He is also known for starring on VH1 reality series Hogan Knows Best and Brooke Knows Best, and last appeared in Sting's corner at Wrestlemania 31 in March.

Which singer inspired James Franco's new book?

Lana Del Rey is the inspiration behind James Franco's new book, Flip-Side: Real and Imaginary Conversations with Lana Del Rey.

The 37-year-old actor co-wrote the book with his former writing professor, David Shields, whom he recently collaborated with on an adaptation of Shields and Caleb Powell's book I Think You're Totally Wrong: A Quarrel.

Franco penned an essay about Del Rey for V magazine's spring issue, praising the 30-year-old singer as a dedicated artist with a "haunting voice." Del Rey was quoted as saying, "Just write around me, it's better if it's not my own words. It's almost better if you don't get me exactly, but try."

The 100-page Flip-Side will be released March 15, 2016. The cover features photos of the actor with Del Rey, her sister Chuck Grant and Museum of Modern Art director Kalus Biesenbach at Fort Tilden beach in New York in July 2014.

Franco has several other projects in the works, including film and TV adaptations In Dubious Battle and 11/22/63, respectively, and animated film Sausage Party. Del Rey last debuted Ultraviolence in June 2014, and will release new record Honeymoon this year.
