Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Son Walks On To Northwestern Basketball Team...
Charlie Hall, the son of Emmy-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is a freshman walk-on for the Northwestern men's basketball team.
Hall, a 6-foot-5 forward averaged 15.3 points, 11 rebounds and five assists per game during his final season playing at Crossroads, a private school in Los Angeles.
Notably, Hall helped the Crossroads team to its best playoff finish since former NBA All-Star Baron Davis played for the school.
"So proud of our boy," the Veep star wrote on Twitter. "Yes, he got the height from me."
Nick Brilowski, associate director of athletic communications at Northwestern University welcomed Hall to the team by quoting one of Louis-Dreyfus' most famous lines from her time on Seinfeld.
"Welcome to new @NUMensBball walk-on Charlie Hall. Yada, yada, yada... you might know his mother," Brilowski posted.
Louis-Dreyfus, a Northwestern alumna, won the Emmy for Leading Actress in a Comedy. Her show Veep also took home the Emmy for Best Comedy.

It You Were Getting Tickets For Janet Jackson In Vegas, WAIT!...
Janet Jackson has canceled upcoming concerts in Las Vegas in order to rest her vocal cords.
The superstar has been on the North American leg of her Unbreakable World Tour since the end of August.
She was due to bring her comeback shows to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino to Vegas on October 9th and 10th.
However, the extensive tour has affected her voice, and doctors have placed her on vocal rest.
The concerts have now been postponed to next year. Since Planet Hollywood will have a new 20,000-seat arena by the time of new tour dates in May, ticketholders will be refunded and have the first chance to buy new tickets on October 16th.
Janet had to pull out of her performance at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas last month due to ear issues which prevented her from flying.
Will Smith Returns To Music With New Song After 10-Year Hiatus...
Will Smith released his first song in 10 years Friday, by teaming up with Colombian band Bomba Estereo for a remix of their song 'Fiesta.'
The collaboration marks the actor's return to music since his 2005 album Lost and Found.
Smith met with Bomba Estereo while vacationing in Colombia and after hearing their popular tune 'Fiesta' everywhere in the South American country, the 47-year-old tracked down their manager.
"When I was told that Will Smith wanted to collaborate on a remix with Bomba, I couldn't believe it," said Simón Mejia, Bomba Estereo's founder/multi-instrumentalist in a statement. "This opportunity to work with Will was beyond anything we have dreamed of. It's not a traditional featuring -- it's just magic."
Smith raps in both English and Spanish on the track and surprisingly swears, an act he famously refused to do in his music after his grandmother found his early rap book when he was 12, and advised him to avoid using profanity.

The actress who says Trump presidency would be 'end of world'?
It's Jennifer Lawrence... Jennifer Lawrence is not a fan of presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
The 25-year-old actress slammed the 69-year-old Republican candidate in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. She and Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson expressed their disbelief at Trump's bid, with the latter actor marveling, "It can't be real."
"If Donald Trump becomes president, that will be the end of the world," Lawrence declared. "I genuinely believe that reality television has reached the ultimate place where now even things like this might just be for entertainment. It's either that or it's Hillary [Clinton's] brilliant idea."
"I was watching him on the campaign trail and one guy said, 'I love Donald Trump because he's saying everything I'm thinking and I just can't say it because of the PC factor'," she recalled. "And I'm thinking, 'You are absolutely right. That's who I want representing my country, somebody politically incorrect.'"
