Luke 6:37

Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

Greetings Bible Enthusiast!

Last week, we saw that Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." (John 8:11). It is important to note that although Jesus did not condemn her, neither did he ignore her sin. He admonishes her to go and sin no more. So should we do likewise.

God Bless You!

TODAY'S NOT SO TRIVIAL TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did the man who came from Baal Shalisha bring to Elisha?

Answer below.

TODAY'S BIT OF WISDOM/REFLECTION:

A fox should not be the jury at a goose's trial.

-Thomas Fuller

FEATURED FUNNY:

I was in my wills and trusts course when the professor posed this question to the students: Why do people choose to have their children, rather than their siblings, inherit their estate?

After students offered various theories, one fellow raised his hand. "This may be a bit off the point," he said, "but when I was little, when my brother and sister finished playing with me, they would put me into a drawer."

ANSWER TO TRIVIA QUESTION:

Q. What did the man who came from Baal Shalisha bring to Elisha?

A. The firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain.

2 Kings 4:42

Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack.
