John Travolta Joins O.J. Simpson Miniseries...
John Travolta has joined the cast of American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson.

The 60-year-old actor will portray defense attorney Robert Shapiro on the FX miniseries. Travolta will also act as producer, with American Horror Story co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk as executive producers.

American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson will examine the trial of former NFL star O.J. Simpson. The football player was accused of murdering wife Nicole Brown Simpson in 1994, but was acquitted of the crime in 1995.

Cuba Gooding Jr. will star as Simpson, with Sarah Paulson as head prosecutor Marcia Clark. David Schwimmer will portray defense attorney Robert Kardashian, who collaborated with Shapiro on the accused's team of lawyers.

American Crime Story is being envisioned as an anthology series, and a companion show to American Horror Story. Season one will consist of 10 episodes written by creators Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski, and premiere in 2015.


Benedict Cumberbatch, Sophie Hunter Expecting First Child...
Benedict Cumberbatch and fiancee Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child.

The 38-year-old actor and 36-year-old theater director revealed the news in a statement Wednesday. The announcement comes two months after the couple got engaged.

"I am delighted to confirm that Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are expecting their first child," the actor's publicist shared. "They are both over the moon."

Cumberbatch and Hunter met on the set of Burlesque Fairytales in 2009, and started dating in early 2014. The pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the New York premiere of The Imitation Game in November.

"My main focus is going to be on [Sherlock], and then [awards season] is just sort of a wonderful burst of manic crazy fresh air in the midst of it all," the actor said this week of putting wedding plans on hold. "One thing at a time!"

Phylicia Rashad Defends TV husband Bill Cosby...
Phylicia Rashad, the actress who portrayed Bill Cosby's television wife on both his self-titled sitcoms, has broken her silence on the rape allegations against Cosby, defending the comedian as he prepares to return to the stage for the first time since November.

"Forget these women," Rashad told ShowBiz411 during a promotional lunch for the film Selma at New York's ultra-swanky Metropolitan Club.

"What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that is so important to the culture."

Rashad initially resisted questioning, saying "I don't want to become part of the public debate," when asked about Cosby, but eventually came to her former costar's defense when pressed by ShowBiz411 reporter Roger Friedman.

"Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV. And it's worked. All his contracts have been cancelled."

Since the allegations of sexual assault have come to light, Cosby has seen Netflix cancel its planned comedy special starring the 77-year-old and NBC shut down development discussions for a new Cosby-produced sitcom.

Cosby, meanwhile, will end his solitude from the spotlight Wednesday evening, kicking off the first of three shows in Ontario. After Kitchener, Cosby will travel to London, Ontario for a Thursday show followed by a show in Hamilton on Friday. Cosby has declined all public appearances and cancelled tour dates since November.

Alyssa Milano Lists West Hollywood Condo for $1.399 Million...
Alyssa Milano has listed her West Hollywood condo for $1.399 million.

Her father Thomas Milano bought the apartment for $975,000 in 2005, and transferred the property to Alyssa in 2013. The home is listed with Jason Harmon of The Top L.A. Real Estate Group.

The condo measures 2,252 square feet., and boasts two bedrooms, three bathrooms and a walk-out balcony. The Empire West building charges a $1,982/month home owners association fee, and features a concierge, valet parking and pool.

The singer who's Bar and Grill has been shut down due to unpaid rent????

It's Toby Keith... His I Love This Bar & Grill in Texas chain was forced to close on Saturday after a note was posted on the restaurant's door stating bosses had failed to pay their landlord for rent.

Staff at local news station KHOU says it isn't the only roadblock Keith's bar has faced since its opening, adding that managers still owe nearly $150,000 to the workers who helped build the establishment.

However, chiefs at the chain's parent company Boomtown Entertainment released a statement on Monday insisting the closure was planned, since they are expanding the restaurant to other cities across the U.S.
